Eh? I just got curious, and had an idea for a java program to carry it out, so I watsed a few weeks on it. I hadn't seen anyone present any data like this before. -------------------- Überraschung des Dosenöffners! Posts: 627 | Registered: Monday, March 7 2005 08:00 |

Aaargh! I know, but it took me a couple of days to get all the data, though, because it amounts to a 50-60 Mb download over my dialup connection, so I can't exactly do hourly updates. Oh well. -------------------- Überraschung des Dosenöffners! Posts: 627 | Registered: Monday, March 7 2005 08:00 |

Glad to oblige; I may eventually give an update of this information someday if it looks like it might be interesting, but I might not. It wouldn't do to follow any recognizable pattern. -------------------- Überraschung des Dosenöffners! Posts: 627 | Registered: Monday, March 7 2005 08:00 |

Hey! This is an encroachment on my territory! I'm the one doing the statistics here! :P Speaking of which, they're due in five days, so I'll count on Saturday evening to get them up in time for Sunday. I'll also have up-to-date title breakdowns and everything. :D -------------------- The Encyclopaedia Ermariana <-- Now a Wiki! There are at least three Canned members - the Canned title is not capitalized. Also, several banned members have a more ... creative banning title. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy desperance.net - We're Everywhere ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! It's an interesting concept, though. Sure, the keywording and maybe a couple of other things need to be thought about and fleshed out, but it's a nice idea. Also, personally, I'm all for this, because I've been waiting a very long time to see Aran have a cat-fight. :P Nice work, Niemand. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Edit: FBM, why a catfight? I was joking, that's all. :P As of June 15, there were 100 members with custom titles. Of these: - 44 contain the word "banned" in some variation, - 13 are "Canned", - 6 are "BoE Posse". - 3 others are possibly banned as well (including one TGM account which is not titled "Banned"), - 3 are "Babelicious" - 3 are "Cartographer" - 2 are "Blademaster" (this does not include mods) - 2 are "Triad Mage" (this includes admins) - 2 are "This Side Towards Enemy" The remaining 22 are: Board Administrator FAQSELF Veteran* The Establishment Loyal Underling Nuke and Pave One Thousand Slimy Things Post Navel Trauma ^_^ Shake Before Using For Carnage, Apply Within Triad Mage Banned Veteran SCORPIUS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!!! Alo still has "Your Postliness" in the (few) forums where he isn't a mod, though. I think Aran may be mistaken... EDIT: 900 - w00t! I got my "new" computer swapped out for one that works, so the posting shall continue unabated. Word is bond. If Niemand and Aran get into a fight, we have to place bets. Who's going to provide statistics and odds on them? Seletine and I are both mods, and we're the only Blademasters. It shows up only in posts in sections that we moderate. —Alorael, who would be happy with his unique, if not custom, italic title if it were not shared. So he's really got something like two almost unique, almost custom titles. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

Well, those are about the most precise percentages a guy could ever need, really. Stats are always interesting, even though a good message board software should really have them built in. There's a good PHP project for you, Aran, in case you were searching around. ;) My post count has suffered a bit from last month because of my Oregon vacation. I'll still be over 200, though. I'm learning PHP as soon as I get home. -------------------- -ben4808 For those who love to spam: CSM Forums RIFQ Posts: 3360 | Registered: Friday, June 25 2004 07:00 |
