...which is why I voted for him. You should too.

EDIT: That isn't the only thing, of course.

With 52% percent of precincts reporting...

Stug - 9
Aran - 7
Thur - 14

Only 29 eligible voters are left in the bribing pool, show them some love!

That particular abbreviation of Thuryl's name suggests that it is being said with a speech impediment.

"Yes, thur. No, thur. Here's the brain, thur."

It seems he was too lazt to add the 'yl' onto the end of his name :P He was just putting the first four letters there.

I could have put full names for all the candidates, or limit it to four. Otherwise the eye is drawn naturally to the different length of Thuryl's name and away from the other two worthy candidates. Perhaps I will do that differently in the future.

Edit - As far as the order of the candidates, I decided that I should be sending subliminal messages to Kelandon, and felt that a vertical presentation reading SAT would effectively show my support for his continued silence on the election topics. That being said, it was a random order.

Aran should have the longest name :P

Arancaytar
Stughalf
Thuryl

Edit: I put them in the order Drakey did, but I would put them in order of who has the most votes, obviously.

I was drawn by the amount of votes he has received, not by the letters in his name.

I'm sure I've expressed this before, but I don't like the word "lisp". L and S are two very commonly lisped letters. A person with a lisp would likely pronounce it "withp". Intentional, or coincidence? You decide.

Just as a reminder, Aran voters were encouraged twice to vote for Stug, as the situation looks grim unless they teem up.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would personally like to see this election come down to the wire. Just for some suspense. :D

If I remember correctly, Alo said that he was waiting until near the deadine so he could (possibly) make a crucial vote. Good idea, but I think Thuryl will win by a comfortable margin.

Alo's member number is not among those allowed to vote. I believe this is because he's currently a mod.

It is, actually. Search Drakey's post for 335 and you'll find it.

Thuryl - Stug ...
Stug - Thuryl ...

Such a dilema, I really have no preference one way or another between them. Each has their own good qualities. My candidate urges me to vote for Stug and he does love Redwall... but Thuryl is very thought provoking and ever helpful.

Ah well, for the fun of the race I will change my vote to Stughalf.

I light of recent events (being absent from the boards for even a day is a bad thing. Look what I missed.) I quickly change my vote from Arancaytar to Stug. I hope the community isn't torn asunder by politics; that would be very sad to me.

Also my vote to Stugie, please.
:) Wouldn't it be less complicated to transfer just all of Aran's votes to Stug?

Not quite. While Aran asked his voters to move their votes to Stug, given his abscence, it's still down to them.

Nonetheless, I hereby vote for Stughalf, wholeheartedly believing that he would make the better moderator.

What on Earth are you trying to pull, ADoS? You clearly voted for Thuryl in the first place. :P

He's trying underhanded subversion tactics. None of Aran's voters have changed to Thuryl; ADoS is trying to make it appear so just for the heck of it.

I'll check my math later, but I think I see one vote for Thuryl and 2 switches Aran-->Stug since I updated last. In deference to the observations yesterday, I will list the candidates by their full PDN in alphabetical order.

Arancaytar 4
Stughalf 13
Thuryl 15

No-vote 27
Abstaining 2
Total 61
% tally 56%
