With a little under 16 hours to go it seems it might be Stugie, but Alo's vote is still out there, and there are enough undecided registered voters to tip the balance (assuming they vote). As an 11th-hour campaign promise, I agree, if elected, to abide by the same impeachment conditions that Alec promised and Stughalf accepted. Those of you who have voted against me purely for the sake of making the election interesting, I urge you to reconsider your vote. The election has been made sufficiently interesting already, and whichever way it goes I think we'd all prefer it to be decided by serious votes. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Even though I don't have to wear them, I like ties. You can cut them up and make quilts for keeping warm on the arctic nights. I vote Thuryl. *this message funded by  and  and :P * Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

If Arctic is somehow involved in your nights, I doubt you are often in any position to be giving attention to your quilts. -------------------- Take the Personality Test! If there was ever a perfect situation that deserved an alex company cartoon, this would be it. To add further, I decline the use of any quilt at any point in time. Quilts are notoriously hard to illustrate. *this message sponsored by inkers local #212* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I have decided, on reflection, to not give a dam about who gets the moderator postition. Sure, I voted for Thuryl, but they would both be excellent mods. Salmon, I could not agree with you more. I believe Alorael now owes Salmon a big part of the brib-- ahem, "proceeds" he can gain from the candidates. -------------------- "Toleration is not the opposite of intoleration, but is the counterfeit of it. t Mind Did Thuryl not just say to stop with the smear campaigns? Also, Thuryl, even if I can't campaign for you anymore, can I still call you Juicy Lucy? quote:While I concur with your assessment of Thuryl's judgement, I feel that I'm far more balanced in my judgment than you give me credit for. True, I might follow my intuition at times and am not emotionless, but I'm quite rational as well. I'm not holding ADoS's over-the-top statements against him, as the two of us are friendly and I believe his "campaigning" is largely an intentional joke. I'm pleased, though, that the electorate is not holding the civil, private argument I had with Ash against me in these elections. Just a bit of time left in this one, and it appears that myself and Thuryl are tied going down to the wire. I'd like to thank the electorate for making this such an exciting contest, and Thuryl for being a more than worthy opponent! It is unlikely that Alo would miss the vote, and a lot can happen in four hours. Edit: grammar. [ Thursday, July 21, 2005 07:35: Message edited by: Dolphin. ] -------------------- Nena Posts: 2032 | Registered: Wednesday, January 26 2005 08:00 |

Trinity - before penalty kicks come two 15-minute overtime periods. Silver goal and golden goal have been abolished. "Potatoe" was wrong but "potatoes" is right. What I like is the star that shines right through the dark part of the moon -- clearly it's really just a marker in honor of the recent anniversary of the first landing. I don't want an overtime election, though. Maybe we can have trial by single combat, or by seeing which candidate floats?
