Do you really prefer the taste of hard liquor, straight, to that of a decent brew? I find vodka absolutely vomitricious when taken straight, and rum and tequila are pretty vile as well. Whiskey has a more tolerable flavor, but it burns considerably going down. If you mean only that you find that mixed drinks taste better than beer, or that you enjoy the flavor of liqueurs like Kahlua or Amaretto, then I agree entirely. EDIT: ADoS, I'm not sure if you'd feel that way about the taste of alcohol if you tried a Margarita. Pure heaven in drink form, I'd say.
