Actually, unless I'm gravely mistaken, I believe it is the Nymph/Perfect Flower quest that leads you to Eagle Rock and to the third lump of mithril. Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Tut-tut, young Liam, just because it's half a foot away from being considered hentai. Saunders, I bow to your superior taste, as Winnie the Pooh is so the best. Frozen, just use Paint and drag it in. Failing that, most graphics programs have a "resize" option. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Drakey decides when someone's earned a custom title or not. Stareye can do it, too, I believe, but to my knowledge, has not. Who knows? Drakey could make it a 10k birthday present to Alo or never give it, at all, for all we know. Mornin' Zeviz. Good to see you back, safe and sound. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Thuryl, hydrogen dioxide is H20. One hydrogen, two oxygen. For the layman, which I don't think we have much of, around here, that's water. [/retracted] Diet Coke, I can't go more than a couple of days without it. Kittens, they're too darn cute. Love, safer to not ask. EDIT: Aye, fair do's. Retracted. Ah wuvs mah Drakey! But no, even myself has used Alo's fun way of ending posts. I really lament myself, sometimes and I was lucky to just get away with being winged, slightly. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Considering that I make them, sometimes, I'd probably change, fairly often. It would either be a kitten, like this: A random picture of me, when I was much younger, with some sort of caption, like this: Something random, with strangeness, like this one, that was made for me: Or just completely weird, like this: -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Hmm... unless I'm severely mistaken, the UK arm of EB was taken over by Game, a good while ago. There's not been a great deal of change, overall. Prices are still about the same. Range has increased, very slightly. No real difference, to be honest. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

It is still my long-held belief that the mod forum is solely for them to swap baking recipes in. I hear that Alo makes a mean set of cookies and Imban, a perfect sponge cake. Rosy was around for a minute, a couple of days ago. tGM? The words: off the face of the planet, come to mind. EDIT: Ah, that would explain it then. Well, just goes to show that if you're away for a couple of months, you do miss things. EDIT2: Ummm... Stugie, that would be three weeks, exactly. I actually noticed it, the same day. I'm at the very maximum, a middlebe. Maybe an oldbie, simply through member number, if you're only taking this board into account. Maybe even a newbie, if you're taking the whole lifespan of the community into account. Then again, I'm just me. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

I think that an update on some spells would be useful. Some of them were just... so pointless. I think if it went along the style of A2's plot, it might be interesting. I always liked how while there were set individual chapters, there was alot of non-linear side missions and so forth. Perhaps, instead of just a fairly straight main linear quest, such as in A3, it might benefit A4 to make more out of side missions and get back to having at least three main missions. A3's gameplay may have been an improvement on A1's, but the storyline, even ignoring the plot, with how you were able to go after your missions, in A1, certainly trumped A3's. Eh, tis no worries. We are all merely human. My mind used to be one of my few talents, but... I neglected it, in favour of two that gave me more happiness. My present name, is to signify my lack of foresight, in... recent events, in my life. Well... that would more be lack of foresight, completely. Epimetheus was basically a stupid titan, whose name literally translates as "after-thought". My more usual, FatBatMonkey, was a reference to The Wizard of Oz. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Ummm... I actually kinda liked those games, if you were taking the mickey out of them, Demonslayer, but I will point out to you, that after playing Homeland for an hour and almost getting RSI from all the darn clicking, I erased it from my HDD forever and kinda had thoughts about burning it from the face of the planet. So don't even joke about that game. It is pure evil. I do recommend BoA and BoE. Depending on what one you preferred, gameplay and graphics-wise, you should also consider trying either the Avernum series or the Exile series. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

If memory serves me well, it was locked at one point, but due to some twist of fate, it became unlocked and a haven for all sorts of TM's twisted shenanagans. Not that I've even spelt that correctly, though. It would indeed be "tempter", BSC. It's not only the logical extension from tempt, but also, the feminine version of it, is temptress. The only other possible word that it could possibly be, would be "temptor", running on the same logic as actor-actress. Even then, most people pronounce actor as ac'terr. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Well, now, you've got to be very careful that the lightbulb has cooled down, after it blows, before you try to change it. It's best done, left-handed and with a towel, just in case, anyway. After all, third degree burns on the right hand, aren't a good idea. And it's lightbulb, you yellow-bellied newb. I took latin, I should know. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Well, in my opinion, it shouldn't be either. It should be forum. Because, while this message boards or forum or whatever you want to call it, has fora, in it, the collective item is just a forum. Just a thought, though. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

At a wild guess, Kel, I'd say that they're references to Alice in Wonderland. I got my uber-special title through... what was it? Umm... oh yes. Persistant and continual spamming, over a large time period. However, I guess, like Alec just pointed out, it can just really depend on what mood Drakey's in, at the time. However, even though I'm well aware that Icshi was accorded the title, due to his part in the Galactic Core contest, I'm sure that Alo has a very good point there. -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |
