Well, colour me stupid if you wish, but I prefer the place when there are a few more active topics. And I really couldn't think up anything deep and philosophical, so I stuck with what I know fourth best. Cartoons. My personal favourites are Thundercats, Trap Door and The Magic Roundabout. Any takers? -------------------- Aut Tace Aut Loquere Meliora Silencio Posts: 1487 | Registered: Sunday, February 10 2002 08:00 |

Recently, I've been watching Gundam SEED Destiny. My interest isn't that high any more, but it's still there, and a lot higher than my interest in the original SEED. I guess the last cartoon I saw that I really liked was Gunbuster. Out of American-made cartoons, I have a fondness for South Park. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

No one has brought up Family Guy. So I will. I like it! And South Park is good, but I prefer the movie to the series. -------------------- 5.0.1.0.0.0.0.1.0... Posts: 508 | Registered: Thursday, May 29 2003 07:00 |

Are we counting Anime? If not, then basically, the derivative comedies put out by Adult Swim. I enjoyed the Roadrunner shorts when I was little as well. -------------------- 私のバラドですそしてころしたいいらればころす Posts: 6936 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

I liked Tom & Jerry and other such cartoons in my childhood, but pretty much only enjoyed the extremely rare episodes where Tom actually got the better of that damn impish rodent. I really enjoy *Dexter's Laboratory*, *Powerpuff Girls*, and *Samurai Jack*. I don't see *Samurai Jack* as often as I would like — Cartoon Network seems to have a deep-seated aversion to what we in the viewing community like to call "a regular schedule." -------------------- The A.E. van Vogt Information Site My Tribute to the Greatest Writer of the Science Fiction Golden Age Posts: 907 | Registered: Monday, July 15 2002 07:00 |

Well if we're talking Anime my favorites would be: Inuyasha, Case Closed, Geneshaft, Lain, Vampire Hunter D, R.O.D. the TV, and just about any other one. Adult Cartoons: Family guy, Futurama, Venture Brothers, Mission Hill, South Park, Simpsons, and just about anything else funny. Normal cartoons: Just about any of the classics except Tom and Jerry (Talk Damn You). Tom and Jerry do talk occasionally. I love Sailormoon, ya know... since you guys brought up anime... -------------------- The critics agree! Demonslayer is "a five star hit!" raves TIMES Weekly! I like The Simpsons, Futurama, Southpark. A few years ago I liked to watch Pinky & Brain, Ren & Stimpy, Duck Tales, Darkwing Duck, things like that. I would like to see cartoons of my childhood again, like Sindbad, Captain Future... Oh, and I love the old version of Disneys Fantasia. The Simpsons, though it is repetitive. Samurai Jack, though it is repetitive. I also watch the Bold and the Beautiful. Ridge died just yesterday, can you believe it? Our beloved ADONIS died FALLING INTO A ****ING OVEN! (that's right, an oven). First this heartbreaking tragedy, where Brooke, Ridge, Sheila and that beard-guy Massimo fought with each other (uuh, what stunts!). Then Sheila knocked out Brooke into a BIG ****ING KETTLE that started moving towards the FLAMING OVEN! Brooke was almost doomed but all of a sudden her Ridge came FLYING towards her, HANGING IN A ROPE LIKE TARZAN (uuh, he had no shirt!) He dump out Brooke just in time, but then the rope snapped and he... snirf... so horrible... HE FELL INTO THE OVEN... and there was this HUGE EXPLOSION... and Ridge BURNED UP!!! They showed this on TV yesterday, I'm not kidding!! Can anyone even think of something more ****ING SENSELESS!!?? I checked what will happen next. Ridge will return after six episodes. Phew. -------------------- ahhahaha i rule u droool Posts: 756 | Registered: Monday, August 4 2003 07:00 |

Nothing except The Simpsons and Futurama, if they ever bother to show it. I hate anime like the plague. It's like an excuse to draw things badly then add on ****ty storylines. Alec> If it's really worth watching, I'll watch it in either language. It's more a matter of which language I can more easily get it in than anything else. Slith> Hey, 52 isn't too many, while 13 usually results in it seeming rushed or pointless. And heck, some perfectly decent shows that have legions of fanboys have 200 or more. UA> You're UA. Also, the stories aren't really worse than the other stuff on TV. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |
