No readme in the Mac version? Whoops! I'll fix that in a minute. The intro pics certainly were worth the wait, although I did screw up a bit with the second one. You see, I was about to kick the scenario out without the second intro pic and when I was checking my email for the last time - Ta-daa! Here's the last intro pic. So I put the picture in and release the scen. Then a couple of hours later I get another, finished picture. D'oh. I'll change the picture once I get some more bugs to squish and once I have the time. It basically just has a soldier walking around the field of children. Which leads me to another matter: In less than ten hours I should be inside a military base getting my six months of compulsory military service out of the way. Whoopie. In the first three weeks I won't be getting out of the military base at all. So if anyone finds bugs in MoC (or in Backwater Calls for that matter.) then please send me the description of the bugs in email. I'd really appreciate it if someone could direct the people who find the bugs to send me an email about them. Dikiyoba: You mean explanation regarding what happened to the children? You can ask Polonius about it but for some reason he doesn't want to talk about it. As for the nephilim: word about the party has already spread out so (for some reason) no-one cares about the nephilim. -------------------- These are my scenarios. That's right, my second scenario is ready for you to play. It's intented for level thirty parties. Pc players can get it from my site (link's in my sig) with no problems. Mac players are going to have to either wait for Spiderweb to make the cmg-file or do it themselves. The sit-file on my site has the custom graphics in Pict-files so I guess it should be easy to make the file. I'll just finish this by thanking all the betatesters who managed to send me something and give huge thanks to spy.there for making me the intro pictures and getting sick in the process. That's what happens to everybody who try to help me. -------------------- These are my scenarios. I may have too much free time but I really don't care. Lessee... I have written down the basic ideas for six scenarios and it's safe to say that I will complete at least three of them some day, though I intend to release them all. This includes Magus of Cattalon which will be released before the 9th of January. -------------------- These are my scenarios. I may have too much free time but I really don't care. I seem to remember that at least one of Shipwrecked's betatesters claimed it to be (much?) better than Nephilim Mystery. But if the combat's the same in both scenarios then I for one would not want to see Shipwrecked released. As far as Magus of Cattalon: The absolutely final release date is the 9th of January and the earliest is when I get the two missing intro pics from my incredibly busy (and talented) artist. I was also hoping to release a short scenario before the 9th of January but that's probably not going to happen and after that date my computer access will be severely limited for several months. I sent the scenario to all who provided their email address. If you didn't get anything, please let me know. Also: please do NOT reveal anything about the scenario on these boards. Send any reports via email and if you don't want to do that then use the BTC. If anyone else wants to test the scenario then I'll still take a few testers, if they show up. Edit: Dallerdin, I got one of these: This Message was undeliverable due to the following reason: Your message is larger than the destination computer is willing to accept, so it was returned. The error message below indicates the size of your message and the maximum size allowed by the receiving E-mail system. You may be able to split your message into several smaller pieces and have them delivered separately. So, do you have any other email addresses or should I start putting the file to pieces? quote:Do your worst! So we have six people now. I'll wait until Saturday and then send the scenario to all the testers, unless there are more than ten of them. Oh, and I might as well say something about the scenario. It's meant for level 30 parties. It has 20 towns and 13 outdoor sections. It took me about six hours to finish it when I read through all the text and I knew where I was going. -------------------- These are my scenarios. My second scenario is just about ready and now I need some people to find the numerous bugs I missed and criticize the plot until I cry like a little girl. So if you want to help me out just answer the questions below. 1) Do you have a mac or pc? 2) What name do you want to have in the credits? 3) If you have a mac, do you want to convert the custom graphics for me? Edit: 4) Oh and I need your email address too. (Sheesh.) I'll also be using the Beta Testing Center so all betatesters should register an account there. What I liked about Mad Ambition's outdoors is that it looked different. Despite all the pretty trees and such, DoK is still the same green grassy region that can be found in any other scenario. Of course the "tree house" of the druids looked unique and I liked that. Heck, even the starting town in ALR seemed fresh and therefore enjoyable, despite the overall mediocrity of the town design. -------------------- These are my scenarios. Kishoshin: Uh, I already sent you an email and I'd rather not repeat myself so check it out. But if you can't draw rats then just ignore the email. Thralni: The priest and mage look nicer, I agree. Can't think of anything else to say right now. spy.there: I didn't see the picture from your link but I got your email and sent a response. Skeletony: When will Mr Proudfoot be adding your graphics to PoWS? :P (I seem to recall you had done something for it anyway.) -------------------- These are my scenarios. Eagle & Eldiran: I sent both of you another email. Let me know if you didn't get it. Thralni: I think I'll just choose between Eagle and Eldiran if it's okay with you. Thanks for the offer anyway. :) I don't think there's anything wrong with your graphics. But if I may suggest something, you should pay a bit more attention to the perspective of the graphics. Those Senarti look a little... flat. Also you might want to consider replacing the black outlines of the Senarti 2 to a darker shade of white. Just a thought. -------------------- These are my scenarios. I may have too much free time but I really don't care. Didn't get it, huh? I didn't get any errors. All I did was copy the email address you had written. I removed the quotation and placed an @ of course. Are you sure you wrote your address correctly? Eagle: Check your email for more info. Thralni: Answer me this, when was the last time you laid your hands on a pen and actually drew something, i.e you did not use a computer. If your answer is "Uh... maybe six years ago." Then I'd have better luck trying to brush up my own skills. I did draw something some five years ago. Er... You don't see any of this offensive, do you? Because, no offence meant. Eldiran: Your style is cartoonish and I have one picture in which I just don't see how that style would work out. I'll email you about it, seeing as I don't want spoilers leaking anywhere. (I'd do a rant about thieves and such but... I just woke up.) -------------------- These are my scenarios. How many think the demon amulet thing is an idiotic puzzle? Laurana: You didn't attack the vampire, did you? Because if you did and didn't get the ancient tome from the vampire's upper tower, then you're stuck. You see, Bearworth can only enchant the amulet if you have Mosadorl's ancient tome and if you walk out of the upper tower and have banished the vampire the stairway upstairs collapses. Come to think of it, even if you didn't attack the vampire I should probably fix that... edit: ... and I did. My site has the latest version now. Really? But does Bearworth move anywhere? You could just follow him with the one character that agrees to move. I'm sure your other three characters will move again if you exit and re-enter the town. Also, if you wanted to you could email me a save file from just before you talk to Bearworth. I could try and figure out what the problem is. You can find my email address in the readme. -------------------- These are my scenarios. I may have too much free time but I really don't care.
