Are you still stuck? If I remember correctly that mung demon has an invulnerability potion, so you're just going to have to try and survive long enough for the potion to wear off. Try casting enduring barrier on your fighters.

My guess would be you don't have the t05Ironmines.txt in your folder. But you do right?

Unfortunately, the call only works in one of those blue rectangle thingies. You're just going to have to figure a way to start that cutscene using the rectangles.

First problem: There's a key in one of the boxes in the southwestern cave.

There's no trick, really. Now if I remember correctly, this should get you through: when the first tiles drop move diagonally south towards the wall (either way will work), then move diagonally back towards the center and when you're there move out of the room.

Hope this gets you through.

Is that really your entire outdoor script? Where's your INIT_STATE and START_STATE. Can't have an outdoor script without those fellers, no sir. Just add this after body;

Well, you should have all the dialogue you've written on a separate text file. What I'm trying to say is if your town script is called town1.txt, then you should write all the dialogue for that town on a file called town1dlg.txt

As for the town boundaries. You probably expanded them too much. Decrease the size of the boundaries a little then try again.

Oh right, this version is still on Spiderweb's download page and I never mentioned this bug here.

I too experienced this bug when I was designing Backwater Calls. The bug has something to do with the clear_town() call which I initially used in Mosadorl's tower. When I removed the call I no longer encountered the bug. So I submitted my scenario and completely forgot that I also used the call in the Iron Mines.

So Chief Spider, I don't know if there's anything you can do to bring back the missing people. I can only direct you to my site and download the version where I think I fixed that bug and see if that would somehow help you. If not, then I'm afraid you'll have to restart the scenario, sorry. Oh and are you using Windows or a Mac?

Edit: By the way, I used the call in the INIT_STATE in case that somehow messes up the call.

But you get no error message? Or did you ever get any error messages? When you kill the slug do you get the "Stikk flies to a chimney" - message?

Edit: For some reason I too can't get the earrings now. It worked fine when I first played the scenario. Huh...

Edit2: Oh, I think I get it now! Arrna, you probably hit the slug too hard, meaning you did along the lines of 300+ plus damage. Am I right? The thing is if you kill the slug the script won't run, so just wound it a bit and see if that works.

Try this Arrna: Open the file t0stikk and change the line relocate_character(ME, 13, 46); to erase_char(ME); and then hit the slug.

Right, there's a goblin lair hidden in the eastern mountains. (That's east from Fort Laramie.) I'll admit I used too much hidden passages there, so the lair is kind of hard to find.

First you must destroy the three groups of undead that give you the message "A group of surprisingly fast undead has reached you" or something similar. Then you can talk to the mayor about the vampire.

Have you killed the goblin leader yet? He has the goblin charm.

Well I have added the usable-once-per-day thing on the bracelet in the recent version. So now the bracelet only makes killing anything easier for singletons. This sorta reminds me...
