Believe me when I say that I am quite truly on tenterhooks until I can find a dictionary to look up what "tenterhooks" are. Also I'm excited about the contest results. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Smoo: Get ready to face the walls! I can't wait to see if I scraped together a 3rd place... 'twould be a miracle, but it would definitely be awesome. As long as I beat CV, though, I think I'm fine. -------------------- Gamble with Gaea, and she eats your dice. I hate undead. I really, really, really, really hate undead. With a passion. As the results get closer and closer......the desire to know gets greater and greater!!!! I WANNA KNOW! I've got the feeling Bahss will win (even though I haven't played it!) If MA wins (doubt it), I'll be very happy, since it's the only "good" BoA scen I've played. -------------------- "Let us see what the new day brings." - Temas, Areni. Visit my realm! quote:It's not just spelling mistakes, it's GRAMMAR mistakes. I don't know if English is your native language or not... But if it is, you need to do a lot about your grammar and such. Also, Spellchecks miss things. It didn't pick up "mite", because the word exists, even though it should be "might", to make sense with the rest of the sentence. Same with your use of "to". The correct word there is "too". Last note: Capital letters exist for a reason, you know. Also, if English isn't your native language, ignore the above points. - Archmagus Micael [ Friday, September 02, 2005 07:51: Message edited by: Archmagus Micael ] -------------------- "You dare Trifle with Avernum?" ~ Erika the Archmage -------------------- My Scenarios: Undead Valley : A small Undead problem, what could possibly go wrong? -------------------- Richard Black - PROOF of his existance (the Infernal one's website). -------------------- MY FORUM! Just for the sake of amusement and comparison, the Lyceum's 7th BoE Contest had the same deadline as SW's BoA Contest (June 1st). The Lyceum's results were released on July 16th. SW's results will (may?) be released today (September 2nd). It's taken SW almost exactly twice as long as it took the community, although I'm sure the extra time was spent, er, carefully replaying and examining the scripting and looking for all the subtle details in order to be completely fair. Or, you know, dealing with a rampaging toddler or something. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. It takes longer because of little time to play, probably. And careful examination must be done (some obscure NPC in an out of the way place might use bad words, for example). Anyway, the choice is made, why does it take so long to write the names in an html file and submit it to the site? :P -------------------- Visit the Blades of Avernum Center and the Beta Testing Center -------------- "Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ." He's probably doing it intentionally. EDIT: Oh, ha. Ephesos posted the link to the results at the same time as I made this post. I'll go check them out. There were also more scenarios for Spidweb to play and only one (or maybe two) judges, in the middle of writing Avernum 4 and dealing with beta-testers with OCD. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Happy Happy Joy Joy Encyclopedia Ermariana - Trapped in the Closet ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse!
