OOC: I'll join too, if you don't mind. IC: "So what happened to the spatula?" Asked a man dressed in black robes. "A mage has it" A huge, deformed bear growled for a answer. Chills went down Samuels spine. "A mage? Wich one?" The bear gave out a furious growl. The message was clear. There was only one man that ursagi hated so much. "So it is Rummel" Samuel said and drew an arcane symbol to the wall he was facing. "Morimos has gone too far this time. Do you know if he's still alive?" The bear looked him mutely. "No? Then go and find out! I have to know the exact powers that spatula holds, so I can prepare counter-spells against it. Go now, we don't have much time." Samuel whispered a few words and the bear disappeared. Then he turned back to the wall. "A spatula" he muttered. "I can only hope Morimos knew what he was doing. Otherwise..." Samuel shudderes. Then he drew more symbols to he wall, and disappeared himself. -------------------- Somebody PLEASE turn the heat on. Posts: 617 | Registered: Tuesday, April 13 2004 07:00 |

Uh, I have a problem: my computer tells me that my member profile is corrupt(blank)and gives a digit 0005. What the heck does this mean? And if you wonder why I post here, well, it's because I can't get to tech support to start a new topic. (When I try it always gives the message described above) -------------------- Somebody PLEASE turn the heat on. Posts: 617 | Registered: Tuesday, April 13 2004 07:00 |

Hyperion and The fall of Hyperion by Dan Simmons are quite good. Also, for those members who can read finnish, try Joe-setä by Veikko Huovinen. -------------------- Somebody PLEASE turn the heat on. Posts: 617 | Registered: Tuesday, April 13 2004 07:00 |

Biomass Future-- Will It Replace Oil in General | |

Uh, by the way, how long will the oil supplies still last? The last estimation I heard was 40 years, and that was 7 years ago. That would mean we have 33 years left. Is this right? There are also somethings which haven't been notified yet. As the biggest consumer of oil, the actions of USA will have a major impact with the economy world wide. Note that oil is the only natural resource of many poor countries have; if USA suddenly stops consuming oil, those countries will take the most harm, and they last need more problems. There are several other points too: for example, private driving (is this the right term?) is a major consumer of oil, and it is, frankly, completely unnecessary. The ideal solution would be to eliminate private driving completely, and then concentrate on making public transportation (again, am I using the right terms?) use renewables. Here, however, we'll encounter one intresting problem: people. Seriously, how many americans are ready to give up their beloved cars and their way of life, even for common good? I think zero is quite close to the truth. All in all, the worst problems in creating an energy economy based on renewables are people and the thing called money. If all worked together without caring about their selfish desires, we could have a working energy economy in a couple of years. However, this will never happen and so we're stuck with topics like this. -------------------- Somebody PLEASE turn the heat on. Posts: 617 | Registered: Tuesday, April 13 2004 07:00 |

Nothing so complicated. The reason actually was, that all those pages were being updated simultaneously. However, I encountered another problem: all my former accounts were erased in the process, and to register again I need a cellphone. So I'm stuck nevertheless :D .
