I don't understand the point of making a A3 trainer. The game, afterall, has its own editor, which can do pretty much those same things.

I love this topic. I just love it. Seeing other people making fool of themselves is just sooooo funny.

Ofcourse, as I too have now revealed my idiotism, other people can laugh at me too :D

playing a guardian? in Geneforge Series

When I play guardian, I leave magic completely unnoticed, and concentrate all my skillpoints in combat and creation skills. I find it helpfull to have a cryoa or two around, even at the end game. Oh, and the thing said about strenght and dexterity is true: they are the most important skills for a fighter.

Well, that could be one reason, but the fact that they split up was propably the cause of their unsuccesfulness. Seriously, play the game trough with a singleton without dying and reloading even once, and then call the first party amateurs.

When did I last post? Last summer? Well, I have to thank you for giving me a free chance to come back here.

By the way, I think these boards need a new RP. Maybe I should start one, it would give me a reason to stay around.

Jay and Shirr-Uth were lucky to get far enough from the river before the dam broke. But it wasn't the fire wich broke it.

"What was that? The dam just can't explode like that itself!" Jay said. "Nope. And I'm pretty sure it wasn't demon either. The dam was burning already, and they don't like to waste their magical powers" Shirr-Uth replied. "But what else could it be?" Jay asked and leaned on a burned tree. Shirr-Uth sat down and sighed. "It doesn't matter. Selger will be drowned anyway. We'll just have to hope that others got out in time."

Jay followed his companions example and sat down. Finally they had a chance to rest, why to waste it? Only then Jay realized that Shirr-Uth was unarmed. "Why don't you have any weapons with you? I suppose it would be easier to fight demons with them?"

Shirr-Uth looked at his companion. "I lost them when I left the bunker. And I can assure that I am quite deadly even without them." "Whatever" Jay said and closed his eyes. "You can have the first shift." Jay fell asleep quickly. Perhaps it was good that way. Shirr-Uth took his armor off and started searching for injuries. His white clothes were wet from sweat. After a bright inspection he had found out that he had dozens of bruises and few small wounds. His whole body was sore. Just then he realized he still had a small sapphire necklace with him.

"Strange" he thought. "I had already forgotten about this. Wonder if it still works?" He took the necklace off and inspected it more closely. Then he scouted the nearby area. There was nothing around, not even birds. "Well, you have to take risks some times. Then, still holding the necklace in his hands, he closed his eyes...

OOC: To be continued.

"Can we help them in any way?" Jay asked. "Nope" Shirr-Uth replied. There was no hope. Most of the villagers still alive and few people Jay and Shirr-Uth recognized as adventurers were surrounded by armed shifters and demons. And they couldn't do anything to it. Depressed they started walking along the riverbank.

They were lucky. In almost a quarter hour of walking they didn't see any demons or other creatures that could propably kill them. It was more silent than in a grave. Then they saw two men running on the other side of the river.

"Those have to be Kenthred and Sadith! They have made it here too!" Jay said. "Hey!" Shirr-Uth shouted, even risking atracting all demons within a mile radius. The two men turned their heads and waved back to them. "How did you end up there?" Shirr-Uth asked. "We jumped through a portal. We just prevented the demons of lighting the dam up!" Kenthred shouted back. "We're going to Selger now!" "You say you prevented the dam of being burned?" Jay said. He was looking to the direction where the dam was. Shirr-Uth glanced at the direction where his companion was looking. "What's wrong?" he wondered. It didn't take long to notice it himself...

OOC: And here it goes...

I suppose sliths just grow slowly or their growth slows down a dramatically when they reach certain age, say 15, if we suppose they're human-sized in that age. And nephils propably lick their fur, as I can imagine that they don't like water particularly much.

If you want to play now and (propably) forever, BOE is your choice. However, thinking about the future BOA could be the best choice.

What KIND of scenerios do you like and what do you expect from them? in Blades of Avernum

Medium-sized scenarios with much puzzles and intresting combat. Puzzles should be challenging, but they should also be logical and related to the plot. I don't see point in puzzles which you don't need to solve to go trough a scenario. I don't disagree with scenarios that are related to "real" Avernum or its history, as long as they fit in. (If some scenario says that UFOs populated Ermaria, then it's REALLY far out. It would fit to Geneforge, though :) )

OOC: Hope this fixes the situation.

IC: "Bubbles! Akhtar hasn't drown! He's floating there, near the river bank!" Hispar shouted. "Sshhh, you idiot! Soon every demon in the town will be here!" Jay said with growing anger. "Or is that what you really want, anyway?" "I don't care what you are thinking, I'm going to help him!" Hispar said and started runnig along the riverside. Jay tried to stop him, but Shirr-Uth grabbed Jays shoulder. "Don't. We can't let anybody drown just because we want to save our own skins" Shirr-Uth whispered. "Lets just find a good place to hide and guard his back. I'm sure he'll return soon." "But what if he's possessed? How do you know he's not going to alarm the demons and quide them here?" Jay whispered back. "If he was possessed he wouldn't care about Akhtar, and I would be already dead. You saw the demon attacking me" Shirr-Uth replied.

Jay was nervous, tired and angry. It was close that he didn't lose his temper. Suddenly he seized. "Did you hear that?" he said. "What?" Shirr-Uth asked. "It's completely silent." "No it isn't! Take that helmet of so you can hear better! Footsteps! Something is coming towards the river!" Jay said. They hid as fast as they could. And when the first light of the sun lighted the streets of Selger, they saw people running towards the river with a dozen of demons on their knees...

OOC: So Hispar went and saved Akhtar when Jay and Shirr-Uth argued, and Akhtar is now looking for his dog with Hispar somewhere along the riverside. In the meantime, sun is starting to rise and Terril and others are running towards the river. Are you okay with this, MSW?

Okay, I won't "shout" in this topic again.

All what only conserns Israelian history is useless, if you ask me. Allegories are still usable, but some of them need quite a lot of pondering before they open to a modern human.

With "modern human" I mean my classmates, who propably have average IQ of WAY below 100.
