Can I still join? And, if I can, could somebody give a short description of whats going on, as I don't have time to read all what has been happening during the last pages? -------------------- Dont think that the glass is half empty or half full. I have always thought, that slithzerkai were native habitants of the caverns like vahnatai, and that they lived in natural caves, and only recently started building forts and houses by themselves. They seem to have two major tribes, those ancestor-worshipping noble sliths, and those savage sliths. About nephilim, I think they are travelling people, who don't establish towns of their own. Perhaps empire got mad at them because they were starting to move at human towns... -------------------- Dont think that the glass is half empty or half full. My favorite Spidweb game is Netherghate. From other games, the Ur-Quan masters and Ocarina of Time. -------------------- Dont think that the glass is half empty or half full. Think that the liquid is not worth of drinking anyway. Posts: 617 | Registered: Tuesday, April 13 2004 07:00 |

Haven't read the Dark tower series. Enjoyed Silmarillion though. LotR is nothing special, and it definetly isn't Tolkiens best book. Dragonlance sucks, but Hickman and Weis have this insane ability to get you read trough all of their books after you've once started, no matter how bad they are (I hated the first book immediatly, but still ended reading trough all Dragonlance series, and other Weis&Hickman books as well). Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the unbeliever are also good. But hey, there are no books which everyone renders good. -------------------- Dont think that the glass is half empty or half full. There is no point in this topic anymore (Actually, there never was). Why it is STILL alive? -------------------- Dont think that the glass is half empty or half full. Think that the liquid is not worth of drinking anyway. Posts: 617 | Registered: Tuesday, April 13 2004 07:00 |

I think Nethergate had the best conversation system. In Avernums you don't have as much freedom, but you can ask sensible questions, not just say singular words. Besides, if there is a way to force type in responses, WHY THE HELL ARE YOU COMPLAINING! -------------------- I have nothing more to do in this world, so I can go & pester the inhabitants of the next one with a pure concscience. What about making a town you have to frequently visit? Like, you have to deliver artefacts to a temple, and the temple will give you hints about other artefacts when some are recovered. I'm planning to do this sometime. ;) -------------------- I have nothing more to do in this world, so I can go & pester the inhabitants of the next one with a pure concscience. If she said, that today's yuong are getting dumber, and need dumber movies to entertain them, then she's dead wrong. If they're getting dumber, then we must make more and more complicated and integillent films to make them forget about TV and do something else . Oh,and if you want to know my type of humour, just look at my signature. -------------------- Dont think that the glass is half empty or half full. How can NPCs be related to scenario plots? Having them just to give some stupid mission and sit in safety themselves isn't really intresting, isn't it? Any ideas of how to use them more creatively are welcome. Also, if someone has some fancy behavior scripts for NPCs in the players side, could you post them here, please? -------------------- I have nothing more to do in this world, so I can go & pester the inhabitants of the next one with a pure concscience. If you want a singleton, romans are far better than celts. Why? Cause they can use armor. Not having the ability to wear armor is the worst disadvantage celts have. But a group of celts is more powerfull than a group of romans anyway. -------------------- I have nothing more to do in this world, so I can go & pester the inhabitants of the next one with a pure concscience.
