Atari's Indiana Jones was also pretty fun back in the day, though quite tricky. I don't think it could top Pitfall though.

Good times at the five year reunion this weekend - my liver is still "thanking" me, I'm certain. Great seeing all my old classmates, though. It just goes to show, the more things change, the more they stay the same. I even managed to get sexiled by my roommate.

Another classic is Vampire Hunter D. Trigun was also fun, though the plot seemed to me to be straight out of Wildarms.

I can wiggle my ears. I can also sing in a pretty pure tenor voice, though the higher end of my range has diminished a bit over the years due to neglect.

They are worth training, because while they basically duplicate the effects of other skills, raising them a point (at least at first) is cheaper than raising the higher duplicated skill.

Example: Doorknob the Fighter has an 8 in melee weapons and is elligible to purchase Blademaster. Raising both skills would increase his effective melee weapon damage by one level. However, going from level 0 to level 1 in Blademaster is far cheaper than advancing melee from 8 to 9.

Of course, considering that character likely never uses pole weapons, I'm not sure if after purchasing six levels in the requisite skill would make the cheaper Blademaster skill that much more of a bargain.

Cowboy Beebop is also fun. The old Robotech series, though a bit dated, is also pretty cool - it's what got me into anime to begin with.

The granddaddy of them all, though, is Akira.

Yes. In some ways, I feel pretty embarassed to be a 27-year-old man purchasing a children's book at 12:01 who will likely finish reading it the same day (that's what happened with the last one. I guess they're just too much fun). :)

Legalization v. decriminalization? I'm missing the distinction here. Perhaps you mean decriminalization v. legalization w/ heavy regulation v. illegality?

I think this would be a great topic for everyone to participate in - as far as I know, the Bible is mum as far as this issue goes. :D Still, I will bow to the participants and watch.

A poorly written poll. Choosing any of the answers is like trying to answer the question "Have you told your parents that you're gay yet?" as a straight person.

I like Michael Jackson's early stuff, but I think he has serious emotional problems. However, it seemed evident to me that the plaintiffs were trying to take advantage of a vulnerable man, and their story was not consistent.

Ultimately, I think that everyone got what they deserved: the money-grubbing plaintiffs didn't get squat, and Michael Jackson had enough of his dirty laundry aired to have learned to reform his ways, which were certainly very bizarre, if not skirting the edge of legality.
