I have a younger sister, Thea, who is 24 (I'm about two and a half years older than her). She's a far better person than I will ever be.

I have two older sisters, one is 19, the other 23. I get along with them, but lately they've been getting on my nerves. Oh, and getting spoiled for being the youngest sibling seems to happen more when the older siblings move out. ;)

I got an older brother, ahead of me by about 3 and a half years, who lives in Ukraine and studies somethingsomething related to business. Mm, and a younger sister, behind me by 14 years, who is .. well, damn. Annoying most of the time, really. I guess she can be sweet too, though. I'll have to pay more attention to notice, though. :/

How did your brother end up in Ukraine? (I'd understand a foreigner attending Moscow's main university (forgot what it's called in English), but why would he go to study in Ukraine?)

Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword,
For it too has the power to kill.
However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword,
Can also have the power to heal.

He's got a friend there. They've known for some years and he's visited their place a couple of times, she came here once.. She's at this school as well, and it's international so all teaching is in English. He brother speaks/writes English better than Finnish by now, I just know it.

Anyway, good international school, great friend and a long way away from us are probably the main points of why he left.

I have one half-brother who is five years older than me. Righteous pain does not quite cover it.

I have an older sister, who I get along with well, and a younger brother who my sister and I hates because he's an all-around jerk. He makes a mess of everything, steals our money, and calls me things like "fag" and "fatass" and "retard" whenever I come within twenty feet of him. When he comes home from school, if I'm still downstairs, he follows me around and farts and burps until I go upstairs to my room. He recently got caught with a drawer full of fireworks in his room. He never listens to anything anyone tells him. I told him that when I get my own house, he's not allowed on my property. My sister said the same thing.

I've got two older sisters. The age difference between us is quite large; my oldest sister is 33, 12 years older than me, and my other sister is 26, five years older than me. Being the youngest and also the only boy, I was pretty much spoiled rotten. It hasn't been all good, though, as even nowadays I find myself being treated like an overgrown child on occasion.

Despite the large age difference between the younger one and me, we still had some serious sibling rivalry when we were younger. Although we were frequently at each others' throats, though, she still was quite a nice older sister, often helping me with school assignments and such. Nowadays she lives away from home and I only see her once a week or so when I'm home for the summer, and never during my school year. We get along really well nowadays, although since we're not around each other as often as we used to be we've grown apart just a bit.

As for my oldest sister, she was something of another mother to me in my childhood, constantly correcting my many bad habits and instilling good ones in me. Without her, it's doubtful that I would ever have learned to buckle my seatbelt whenever in a car, or use a fork properly. Nowadays, our relationship is more evenly balanced, and we get along quite well. Unfortunately, I don't get to see her too often either.

My oldest sister is a pediatrician and works in Rockford, some ways west of Chicago. My other sister is in her fourth year of medical school. Both of them are engaged to be married to excellent chaps.

And here I am, failing out of college, with my options fast diminishing. And I don't even have a girlfriend. My sisters set a standard that I doubt I could ever have matched, but I've managed to fail so spectacularly at most everything that, even at the tender age of 21, I'm already easily the black sheep of the family.

The good news, I suppose, is that I've got a very nurturing family, wonderful friends, and my youth. Things can and will improve. :)

Wow, this topic sure took off!!

I have two younger brothers, both of whom have posted here. They're both quite annoying and need their equal share of computer time, but they make good when you need someone to play with. Assuming they like to play what you want to play, of course.

*reads that old thread*

I love those things. So Wise Man was Alorael-. For a moment I thought that was him himself as a Guru a long time ago. But no characteristic sig.

My older brother is a bit of a pain in the neck, and is mad about Motorhead. He's not as bad as my cousin, though.
Or my other cousin. But my other cousin isn't too bad :D .

I have a 18 years older brother who moved from home soon after my birth. Thus I don't know him very well. He lives in Dunsborough, Western Australia, and yes, I do have two nieces and two nephews in nearly my own age.

:( Ooh, Mind. I would have another brother too who would be 16 years older. He died as a baby from whooping-cough.

edit: Wise Man was Aloreal-.
Too bad you can read only the first page of that old, interesting thread.

I have a brother 9 years older than I. I'm by far the inferior one though, so I actually end up getting hatred and disgust from my mother and some of my relatives.

EDIT:
Ben: It was Aloreal- dammit! Aloreal-! :P

I have one older sister and one younger sister. I've always been stuck in the middle. They both have choleric(sp?) personalities too while I'm phlegmatic so I got along fine with both of them though they didn't get along so nicely with each other.

The dictionary says that choleric means hot-tempered...
