It's a garbled advertisement for Cialis, which is similar to Viagra. I wonder how it got so garbled. It looks like it went from HTML to plain text and back, with a trip through an AIM-speak translator just for fun. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. I did my best to be faithful to actual level progression in the games. If you have objections to anything in particular, feel free to let me know. I am taking requests (reasonable ones, at least) for the next version of the HLPM, which I intend to release, er, probably some time during Winter Break in January. I suppose it goes without saying, but I consider parties made in a HLPM to be approximately equal to parties built in scenarios, as least as far as being "legitimate" goes. TM thinks parties made in my HLPM are underpowered, which is part of the reason (I think) that he made the Artifacts Hall, so I don't feel bad about using my parties. I guess some people feel otherwise, though... :( And if you feel really insistent about killing things in order to gain levels, I guess you can just go to the HLPM's Arena and fight for about 40 levels' worth. :P -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Given that this is BoA, it works slightly differently, Ian Kirdor. For instance, the list of items is given already (in corescendata) and the special items vary from scenario to scenario (but are usually listed in the scenario's scenario script). Also, we were referring to the features in the unregistered Character Editor, which does not include the Advanced Features. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Oh, as another point: I don't think very many of our suggestions that we will make from now until the release of GF3 are going to be implemented. Jeff seemed to indicate that the GF3 engine was pretty much done, and all he's doing now is writing in more areas and dialogue and such. So posting any improvements for GF3 that are more than "I'd like to fight against a creature that has a script that does [x]" is probably useless. But it is fun to dream, still. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Smoo: Get ready to face the walls! Assuming you are referring to the scenario editor, not the character editor, it is available from the Scenario Workshop. You can't actually play anything you make with it until you register, though. The character editor is available through the Main Menu in the BoA app itself, but I'm not sure if it works in the unregistered copy. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. The walkthrough is in the file Blades of Avernum Manual.pdf, in Chapter 12: Hint Book For the Demo. I don't feel like reposting the exact same information over again, so I'll just give you the link to where I answered this question before. EDIT: Er, in case the relevance of the link is not clear, you need to exit the Experimental Halls heading south. Instructions on how to do that are in the link. If your topics are horribly cliched, overdone, or pointless, people like to spam them. I can't say that it's right for them to do so, but that's what happens. EDIT: It appears that you have started four topics (Kotor, Hitman, Porter's Retreat, and this one). Only one other topic has been spammed to death (Kotor) and that was done unjustly and Imban said so. The only illegal drug in the Avernum Trilogy is skribbane, and it only exists in A3 in the Empire. You can steal... er. Dexter in Almaria in A1 will give you a few evil quests. There's another one in A2 in (I think) Almaria, but my Classic mode is broken right now, so I can't open A2 and check. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Well, certain dialogue options won't be available to you. I don't know offhand which ones, but there are various walkthroughs that will tell you what Reputation you need to get certain missions. That's about the only reason that it matters. EDIT: Also, if you would tone down your posting rate (ie not posting several new topics in a single forum within a few minutes of each other), that would be much appreciated. If you don't, bad things will happen to your account. I would also have to say that Berkeley's reputation is rather misleading. The student body seems pretty liberal overall, but there are a fair number of conservatives here. Several of my good friends are conservative. And the drugs are a serious problem in some parts of the city. They aren't rampant, but I live pretty near People's Park, which was once the rallying point of the hippie movement and is now the place where all the homeless congregate. It gets pretty bad in there sometimes. Also... Waikato, Aotearoa? A Google search seems to indicate New Zealand. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Whew, a newbie responding to a newbie. GF1 is pretty good. Going all the way into the island was a fun experience. I think it's worth it to buy the whole game. Finding out what the Geneforge is, actually meeting certain interesting people... yeah, it was exciting, I think. Geneforge 2 was better in terms of gameplay, but I think GF1 had a better plot. By the way, since Spiderweb has only three employees, they all post under the name Spidweb (member #1). They pretty much don't read these boards at all. So anyone you see here has no financial connection to the company. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. I don't think there's anything wrong with cracking the games if you've already bought them and somehow gotten them unregistered. I'm also pretty sure that discussing such a topic is not a bannable offense, although it's fairly borderline. (Giving the locations of such cracks is, though.) However, it's highly unnecessary, because if you just e-mail Spiderweb, they'll send you new keys relatively quickly. I got mine within a few hours. -------------------- Arancaytar: Every time you ask people to compare TM and Kel, you endanger the poor, fluffy kittens. Smoo: Get ready to face the walls!
