But did you know that there is an organism in the real world known as a slime mold? They're small, slimy, crawling critters. Nobody really knows what kingdom they belong to. Some say they're fungi. Others are not so sure. If you're ever hiking in the woods, and you see what looks like a wad of chewed gum, be sure to look closer. It may be a slime mold!
Or it may be a wad of chewed gum.

Meh, you can't have it all, can you. Nontheless, my quest to prove my uniqedom rages on...

And yes, I know of those little strange fungi-type blobs. Were did you hear of them? Have you ever encountered one? Really interesting. Please tell me more.

One might suspect I was just being sarcastic. In that case one would be wrong, however.

And then again, one might suspect I'm a liar. In this case one would own more than a little bit of rightdom.

Another thing - several people I know have requested that I assist their suicide should they suffer a stroke, be rendered a vegetable by drugs, etc. Would you do it? Could you do it?

I couldn't assist anyone in mercy killing, no matter what. Requested or not, their blood would still stain my hands. And yes, I am probably being disturbingly selfish.

And if I ever really were to kill myself I probably wouldn't write any notes. Not because I wouldn't think it's a good idea. If you really are to leave this world then I guess the least you can do is solving things up before you go.
However, as the coward I am, I couldn't really plan my suicide that long. It would probably be an fast and impulsive event, some evening when I would feel I just can't take no more. If I started writing notes I would probably change my mind, anyway.

Easy one.
Demons of course. Demons of all kinds. They are just so damn cool. Or should I say hot? Well, you get the idea, anyway.

What more, I also like the fyoras. Not ordinary monsters but still very nice. And they are even quite cute!

Slimes - yessiree I like them! The Exile graphics have seriously changed the way I look at the world. Whenever I hear the word "slime" nowadays, I immidiately think of an emerald/mauve/ochre/amber pile of goo that is about to attack me. Thank you for this, SW!

On overall, I quess you could say I like not-so-usual monsters. Sure, dragons are cool but everybody likes them. Therefore I see no point in liking them. It's part of my desperate campaign to show people how original and interesting I am, I quess. There, much better. Now, if you do it slowly and drink lots of water with it, you might actually be able to digest it.

Not something I would recommend, though.

You haven't seen real RP until you have joined a LARP. Guys bashing each other with big balloon-lookin' swords made of plastic, while throwing pebbles at each other and screaming LIGHTNINGBOLT! LIGHTNINGBOLT!

And not to forget the melodrama:
I am... Melchior the great and I will burn those orcs (probably a bunch of trees, preferably wild and threathening looking such) with a flick of my wrist! Oh die, you evil orcs and let my good magic purify your rotten souls!

Interesting topic.
The average SW board user seems to be a 14-27 year old Australasian male. At least so far. Not too many people have voted yet, though.

So, now we have had enquetes concerning names, homosexuality, age, gender, credit card numbers, musical tastes, home country and looks. Not the mention the "what did you eat last Tuesday" -topics. What'll it be next?

PS. Come to Finland, the best country in the world (I'm being serious here, so please stop laughing already)! No earthquakes, no poisonous animals, drug- and AIDS-problems still very small! The living standard among the highest in the world and the economy aiming at the stars!

Ahh Finland...I have to go out and enjoy of my country.

IC: Eirik screamed and tried to jump backwards while drawing his shortsword, but the undeads were to fast. One of them, a big ghast, hurled itself towards him and landed on top of him, pressing him towards the ground. Eirik tried to get his sword arm free but it was in vain. The ghast clawed him, tearing apart his leather armour. Eirik thought : I knew I shouldn't have come to this town in the first place...

And then suddenly the ghast was gone. Eirik blinked and looked up just in time to see it getting nailed to the wall by Lynn. The new spear she was wielding glowed slightly and he could hear the humming sound it made even as the furious ghast screamed. In moments, the ghast were dead, and Lynn jumped of to help the Crimson Guard without even looking at Eirik.

Eirik stood up and looked around. There were more undeads than he even had thought possible, and they were not all zombies either. There were, apart from ghasts, also ghouls and blackhooded devas. The Crimson Guard was fighting bravely but they were horribly outnumbered.

Eirik glanced at the door behind him. It would be just too simple to leave this cursed town and never look back. Then he shook his head. Lynn had saved his life, and he had a very un-mercenary feeling that there were more in life than gold and riches. He draw the bow he had dropped and nocked of an arrow which hit one of the bigger ghouls in the chest, sending it down to the floor. The Crimson Guard fought desperately and Lynn's spear whistled in the air as she struck down upon the undead as an thunderstorm.

The battle had just begun.

Don't commit suicide. Imagine all the nice things there are in this world! I mean, take a thing you like very much. If you commit suicide you will never more experience that again. I think that is reason enough.

But who am I to judge. I don't know you or your life. Still, I cannot imagine you have nothing to live for.

Good luck.

It's interesting that nobody have (yet) come up with an "I hate gays"-reply. We all seem to be very liberal in this matter.

Perhaps it's because we are RPG-fans. I mean, if you can accept a guy with fur or scales in your company, then a homosexual can't be that bad.

I meant no offense with what I just wrote and it should be considered yet another burst of my childish sense of humour in a totally wrong place. Please.

Oh, and I'm very much straight. But Khoth has got a point, alright. Who knows?

OOC: sorry for being away so long. I try to stay in the background, since i really don't like to alter other characters that much. Still, I say it's time we get some action over here! Sewers next!

Eirik, who had stood aside wondering how he could escape without suffering the wrath of Lynn and her company as she had talked with the man dressed in black, decided it was time to act. He strode towards the man known as Terebrant.

"Hello there! I couldn't help but hear what you just said to miss Lythis over there." He nodded at Lynn who just had risen and walked over to talk to some of the members of the Crimson Guard.

Terebrant looked at him suspiciously. "You were with Lynn, weren't you? What's your rank?

"Well, my name is Eirik, from the town guard. I'm just a standard soldier. I heard you talk about some artifact in the town shrine, yes? And miss Lythis over there is going to get it? Ahh..I thought she might."

Terebrant raised his eyebrowns. Eirik nervously continued.

"You see, I have...ehh...hurt myself, yes, broken some ribs I think, actually. Fighting some of those zombies you see. Nasty lot, that's for sure." Eirik hesitated, well aware that the net of lies he was wowing was getting more complex for each minute.

"I just wondered if you perhaps would need my help around here? You see, I really wouldn't want to go to the sewers with my wound and all. Perhaps something a little bit...easier...if you get my meaning?"

Terebrants face grew darker. "You seem to be just fine. Considering your hometown is under attack I suggest you don't try anything...stupid. Stupid from your point of view, that is. And I think Lynn will need all the help she can get. Of you go, soldier"

Disappointed Eirik walked back over to the members of the Crimson Guard. Lynn seemed to be ready to get going. The day hadn't begun good, and it wasn't getting any better. And now it would even involve the sewers! Damn!

I have played Aleshar - the world of ice (the unregistered version). Graphics are not so good but it has got an interesting plot. Also, very original game (the navigation system, for an instance). Try it out.

And I think Baldur's Gate was nice. Imagine the game engine being put in the hands of Jeff...

Eirik walked up to the figure who had called upon him and eyed her carefully. It was a girl, wearing full plate. She also had a red pendant dangling from her neck. While Eirik was sizing her up, the girl spoke to him again.

"Hail and well met, soldier! Who are you and were are you going? Isn't the battle over at the east end of the town?"

Eirik glanced at the spear by the girls side and hesitated. It was obvious that this girl had recieved military training, and there was no doubt she was a better fighter than himself. Also, the soldiers standing behind her didn't look that happy either.

"I am Eirik Felsman of the town garrison. During the chaos I got lost while chasing some zombies down the street. And who might you be?"

The girl looked at him suspiciously. Eirik looked down and understood that he wasn't wearing the standard city uniform that all the guards were wearing. The girl seemed to be about to say something but apparently changed her mind.

"I'm Lynn Lythiel, commander of the Crimson Guard. We have come to free this town from the zombie threat. I would suggest you follow us, if you truly are lost, soldier."

Eirik swallowed. "It will be an honour, milady."

OOC: Ehh...you guys are taking this quite seriously. Calm down, it's just a game.

IC: The moment Eirik stepped out of the tavern door he noticed two things. Firstly, the center of the battle seemed to be situated somewhere to the east, probably near the town gates. Secondly, the situation was much worse than he had thought. It seemed the zombies had either broken down the town walls or found another way in. Zombies were already walking down the streets in search for prey.

Eirik stood there stunned for a moment watching the growing chaos. This was certainly not what he had expected. A few years ago he had fought a zombie infestation in SE Valorim, but this was much, much worse. He knew that most zombies were slow and stupid, but he also knew that they virtually didn't feel pain and posessed a kind of nasty intelligence, especially if controlled by some kind of master. The town was going to be burned to the very ground if wonders weren't about to happen. Eirik had been a mercenary for many years but this was a bit too much. It was time for Eirik Felsman to leave the sceen.

Eirik grasped his bow and started walking towards the west end of the city, away from the chaos. He nervously glanced at his sides. Alone he was an easy prey. He had got to find some comrades-in-arms if he was going to survive. After all, not everyone in this town could be as foolish as to gleefully run towards their own death. There had to be more people like him, people who prefered a less honourable but certainly more wise solution.

Eirik continued down the street. Occasionally he shouted, but nobody answered him. At least yet.

OOC: My first RPG... I'll try to stay in the background until I see how it's done.

IC: Eirik observed how the people in the tavern started to shout and run out. He didn't know what it all was about, but he had heard of the zombie threat when he first had arrived in the little town. He fingered his ash longbow. Perhaps there was need for him outside, but, he really wanted to down his mug of ale first. And what more, he wasn't going to fight unless there was a significant reward for doing it. Eirik Felsman, who had arrived to the town just some days ago, was a mercenary by trade.

OOC: Eirik Felsman
Mercenary / Archer
Age: 41
Hair: Short grey
Eyecolour: blue

IC: Eirik looked around. The inn was almost empty now. Outside he could hear the distant screams and the sounds of an onraging battle. He decided it was time to get going. After all, there could be some desperate merchant in need of his services. With the battle and all, the thieves were probably roaming the streets in this very moment. With a last wistful glance at his ale, Eirik stood up and walked to the door, drawing his longbow in the process.

What? I just felt like it!

1. What's this deal with private messages? Does anyone ever really use them? (of course, you don´t have to tell, considering it really is PRIVATE messages I´m talking about. But still.)

2. Why oh why did Frodo and the rest of the hobbits only wear shorts when wandering across Caradhras (I think it was Caradhras. You know, big mountains, snowstorms, avalanches, that kind of stuff)

3. Does anyone admit being a member of mensa? No, seriously!

4. Do you consider this spam? (if your spam-detector is screamin' like a sinner on Revival Day, then I suggest you stop answering immidately. After all, nothing discourages spamming more than nobody answering.)

5. What kind of music do You prefer?

There we go! Now brighten up my day and go answering already! Pick one question, pick two, pick them all or pick none. The choice is yours to make!

EDIT : added the fifth question out of pure boredom.
