You're not supposed to be able to raise skills above 30. The fact that you've been able to do so is odd, and probably a bug.

Or just haste before you get within sight of your enemies. It has a fairly long duration, so it's unlikely to run out during combat.

That seems like one too many decimal places to me. :P

Possibly, but I gather it's based on a fairly big survey. :P

Just a matter of getting used to it I suppose.

Yup. World Health Organisation statistics show that you're more likely to suffer health problems due to hypothermia in the UK than in Siberia (where the average winter temperature is -25 degrees Celsius). The main reason is that nobody in Siberia is ever surprised to find that it's cold outside; the average Siberian wears 4.26 layers of clothing in winter, plus hats and gloves to cover all exposed skin.

One way around the Simulacrum problem is to do what TM does with Cloud of Blades and take away Simulacrum in fights where it'd be unbalancing, giving it back again afterwards.

Okay.

Word of Recall takes you back to the town you started the scenario in, which is normally town 0.

Variable Town Entry (an advanced option in the Scenario menu) allows you to change what town a party enters based on the value of an SDF.

Therefore, Variable Town Entry allows you to set an SDF that will change what town Word of Recall takes you.

The details of it are explained at the following links:

It can't, since you can still only cast a spell on your turn, and you don't get turns while frozen.

Nice catch on the bug, fractalnavel. Send an email to Spiderweb Software about it.

There's no Nethergate 2 and probably never will be. There may or may not be a remake of the original Nethergate in the foreseeable future.

You'd be wrong; it was Andrew Miller, and he double-posted it. He didn't intend it to crash the boards, though.

I'm pretty sure that raising your creations' Intelligence will give them more energy. I'm not sure how cost-effective it is, though.

Yes. It's pretty limited and not officially supported, but it's possible to include a few custom sounds in the Mac custom graphics file and use them.

Oh, and for the record, TM does not care whether SW is willing to host his scenarios. He's already had them reject one or two for alleged copyright infringements. :P

I know that they are allowed to do it, but can't a judge see through all the bull**** and say "tough luck, they were around before your company was even thought up"?

I would bet that this dispute never went as far as a judge's decision; a trial would have cost a hell of a lot more than a name change. Filing or defending a lawsuit is rarely a practical option for anyone who isn't loaded with money. Capitalism is A-OK until it hurts someone you care about, eh?
