I don't think you're supposed to drag them. You just click on them once to pick them up and click on them again to drop them. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Parry is more important than endurance, at least early on. Going for it early will render enemy melee attackers mostly impotent. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

I found kyshakks severely disappointing, largely because of their low accuracy compared to wingbolts; on Torment difficulty there were a lot of things they just plain couldn't hit. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Well, according to the Shaper ending of G4, the Shapers do in fact choose to keep the details of the rebellion public as a reminder to future generations of the need to keep Shaping under strict control. It's implied that this is a break from their normal strategy of hushing up rebellions. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Actually, you do get to see Ghaldring immediately after the duel with Salassar ends. Attacking him does in fact cause you to die, though. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

You don't forge 'em, you find 'em. Tinker's Gloves are in Purity Workshop B, Tinker's Bauble is a reward for bringing enough Melted Sand to the alchemist in Dillame, and the Infiltrator's Tunic is in a trapped cabinet in a warehouse in Dillame. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! What exactly were you looking for if not constructive criticism of your theory? You need about 12-14 mechanics to disable the spirals, depending on whether you mind them blowing up or not; 8 mechanics plus bonuses from the Tinker's Bauble, Tinker's Gloves and Infiltrator's Tunic should be enough. Disabling them only stops you from taking energy damage every round, though; she'll still make creations. quote:Honestly, I don't see that happening. Even when I played through with that shocktrooper who pumped Intelligence into the mid-20s (giving her a whopping 1022 essence) and left no essence in reserve for magic, I could only get 6 wingbolts -- 7 would have been possible if I'd gained another level or two (or neglected to give them +2 Int, which would suck), but anything more than 7 was out of the question. I suppose one could have an army of 13 drayks by the endgame, but at that point drayks are starting to get pretty fragile. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Under the G4 system, your turn still ends immediately if you attack or cast a spell with less than 10 AP, but unlike the previous Geneforge games (and A4) you don't need at least 5 AP to attack. (You still need at least 3 AP to use an item in combat.) [ Saturday, February 24, 2007 20:28: Message edited by: Cryptozoology ] -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Charged creations are the upgraded forms of some kinds of creation, which you can create by having at least 3 points in the appropriate creation skill. For example, by having 3 points in Create Vlish, you can make a Charged Vlish. You make them the same way you make any other upgraded creation: click the little + icon that appears in the corner of the creation's picture. Warning: when you make one, prepare to be disappointed. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

As far as I can tell, if you side with the Shapers in the endgame and then trigger the Trakovite ending, there's no way to avoid being executed. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Yeah, wiping out Shaper camps has no negative effects on your standing with the Shapers, as long as you get everything you need from them first. There are two minor exceptions to this: wiping out the 31st Regiment, which shifts your reputation toward the rebels but otherwise has no effect, and wiping out the Poryphra Ruins camp for Litalia, which also shifts your reputation toward the rebels but doesn't prevent you from accessing the Shaper endgame. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! It's just flavour text. It has no gameplay effect. As such, interpret it as you will. quote:That guy's also the most severely canister-addicted person you meet in the game; anything he has to say about creations is therefore suspect.
