Having creations in any Genegorge games will reduce your xp, which is why I said above that I prefer to play as a loner.

I have yet to play a Geneforge game where I didn't. In fact, about 99% of the creations I make are expendable. I pretty much like to play as a loner.

That's what stopped me from buying it fo a while. It was also because I was so broke at the time that I could barely afford a pack of chewing gum.

Since I *finally* bought it, I've been playing around with making custom weapons, including--as I mentioned above--a rolling pin, plus a shovel, a brick, a 2-by-4, and a wet towel.

Hmm. Never thought of a Geneforge-like BoA scenario before, but it does seem possible, at least in theory.

Yes, it would be cool, but I seroiusly doubt that will happen.

Other threads have discussed similar things, and all have come to the conclusion that there will most likely never be a Blades of Geneforge game, which is what you're implying. Do we really want--or need--to create another BoG blog?

I agree; in my opinion, some topics are just too controversial to be discussed without people ending up at each others' throats. This is turning out to be one of them.

For the folders named Save0, Save1, etc., each folder is basically a saved game, with the last 2 saves being the quicksave and autosave games. To backup your game, you'll need to copy the entire folder it's saved in. For example, if your game is in the first slot on the "Load Game" screen, its corresponding data folder is "Save0"; to back up the game, you need to copy the files in the Save0 folder to another folder.

Apparently, I misspoke. In the Exile trilogy, that potion was used to cure dumbfounding; after some checking, I guess there's no such item in Avernum. However, in Avernum, you can use an item called an unshackling crystal for the same purpose.
