Did you define the variable "choice" at the top of your script? Also, if you want the party to be able to record it use 1 in the reset_dialog() call instead of 0. My suggestion is to force yourself to devote 30 minutes of every day to the scenario closest to being done, if you can spare it, before any of your other projects. It can be tough, but one of the main reasons scenarios do not get released is because it is too easy to get distracted with a new and shiny idea. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! That is one thing that has always annoyed me. In Exile, monsters were okay with doors and handled them very well. In Avernum, monsters could never figure out how to use them. This is due to the whole scripting and monsters not activating script things, but still. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! The key is from the wounded soldier in the main hall of Fort Remote. You will need to recover some boat plans which are pretty easy to find and she will give you the key. I believe from the Eyebeat bridge, there should be a door somewhere to the west that leads to a bunch of wolves. Keep following the passage and you should find Rentar's lair. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

In celebration of the New Year and in protest of the base 10 number system's imperalist grip on our perceptions, I will make a celebratory post containing scenes of 1945 of my current count. See if you can identify their significance: -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

I will repeat this from an edited topic: Amazing how our base 10 number system causes us to put relevance on years like 2000. If we were in a base 8 system, our perspective on such matters would be different. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Ummm...I think you titled this topic incorrectly. Sulphurous flats may be more appropriate. I will change it for you to avoid confusion. No, there is no secret exit, just brute force or lots of running. Before going into battle: bless, haste, shield, augment, and cast prismatic shield on all of your PCs. The best way to take this is to focus on a one pylon at a time and take it slow, don't get in range of too many pylons at once. Also, summoning may help keep the Wyrms off your back for a while. Amazing how our base 10 number system gives us some sense of significance of a new millennium. At any rate, Happy New Year. :D -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

Excellent, it appears we have enough agreement for the first couple of chats. A central topic to discuss should be the next Blades contest and other community needs. We should probably try to get something hammered out soon on this. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

A large post count is not really a major factor; some quantity is needed, I grant you. However, it is a large post quality that is much more relevant. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Posts: 3726 | Registered: Tuesday, September 18 2001 07:00 |

To be a moderator one has to have been here a while, established a good reputation, exhibited excellent use of grammar and punctuation, and have general approval of the other moderators. During this process it is said there are many difficult trials and tests and is not for those faint of heart. Custom titles are awarded on an honorary basis at the discretion of the admins. You cannot change your rank yourself. As of this time, you have not yet accumulated the prestige for a custom title. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! Odd. Assuming no bugs, the town limit is 200. Might want to check the coding of the move_to_new_town call again just to be sure that's all square. The next thing to do is post a screenshot as the error seems quite odd and I am not sure exactly what is going on. -------------------- Your flower power is no match for my glower power! As I said, the times right now are not set in stone and will float according to demand. My vision is to have an alternating week schedule with one time every other week and another the opposite time. The first chat, since I already said a date, will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 10 pm EST (Thursday, January 5, 2006 at 3 am GMT). This time was chosen for the US (the native country of Spiderweb Software) as it would be reasonable for everyone there. The other time is, as Kelandon suggests, perhaps a Saturday at 2 pm EST. Opinion on this? Almost forgot, the Lyceum is located at: http://pub26.ezboard.com/bthelyceum Access the chat interface on the top. You need to register, but that should not be too bothersome. It is web browser based and works decently well. If people have an alternate plan, please suggest that as well.
