Electrified field was quite easy, poriphra was easy but entering from the north :) And warded caves indeed has a lot of switches but it's the reward in the NW corner what really matters. About the eye road I still can't pass through the SW section of the field. Posts: 446 | Registered: Friday, July 22 2005 07:00 |

An improvement for g5, the charged creations...I hate them, I mean who could possibly prefer to make a corrupted rothgoroht that will day instantly instead of a so cool named rotzidon(or rotdizon I don't remember, both are cool)?? I want my terror vlishes back!! not those stupid charged vlishes that will die!! That kind of poison damage found in the terror vlish can be found nowhere else. Well you know what I mean with that...Further ideas later... Posts: 446 | Registered: Friday, July 22 2005 07:00 |

I like the enviroment sounds of Geneforge, they complement some areas perfectly, but yes, it's quite repetitive. What really creeps me out are the areas that don't have background sound, they remind me of Exile...Also with other avernum games I usually have music from my own library playing, but not in geneforge. What is the name of the geneforge world? What is the other continent controlled by shapers? Where are the Sholai from? Maybe the sholai are the Empire people from avernum games? [ Saturday, March 10, 2007 14:12: Message edited by: Dark Mage ] Posts: 446 | Registered: Friday, July 22 2005 07:00 |

If you just started playing then you can wait some time...Matala workshop is under the western Morass, and the breeding pits, if I recall correctly is under the northforge warrens, both are the only areas that I haven't cleared yet. Posts: 446 | Registered: Friday, July 22 2005 07:00 |

And talking about game partners, is there any npc that may join our party? Just like Alwan and Greta in G3. I have found a girl in poryphra ruins, helping me in the shaper side, but when I played as a rebel nobody aided me... Without considering the soldiers in Azirap obviously. 9.0 It was just very cool, and quite better than previous Geneforge games, but I don't like that the shapers are like spies and they can, and must, do almost every big quest that the rebels to win the game. Except that in the last text box you are supposed to pick the "Destroy the Unbound option". Posts: 446 | Registered: Friday, July 22 2005 07:00 |

In case of a new game I'm sure it will be about magic too. [ Saturday, March 10, 2007 13:28: Message edited by: Dark Mage ] Posts: 446 | Registered: Friday, July 22 2005 07:00 |

Lately when I enter this page I first go to the G4 forum and see what interesting post I may find, then I go to General and try to find anything that is not about nuclear weapons, or hypothetical thoughts or things the like... I tend to check first the post that I have already posted in to see if there is some answer or quote or something, and then I look in the new post. I'm playing G3 now and I must say that I'm amused with my battle creation, betas are not that good, maybe because they are just brutish fighters, but Clawbugs and specially plated bug were really useful, especially with the old attack system, this last creation can attack a lot of targets and still move, unlike in G4, that's is a good part of the old system, if the only. Glaaks are quite good too but their magical traits seems to makes them more fragile. Posts: 446 | Registered: Friday, July 22 2005 07:00 |

Clawbug are quite useful for the mid-begginig of the game, because they are quite well armored and almost inmune to poison, they are very useful to kill vlishes :) plated bug are even better. But Battle α and β aren't very good for their tier, they are just like thads(wich in fact are really bad creations) Well it all depends of the likes of the player. I have said this many times but it's ok...I discovered them in a magazine, it was a spanish magazine called Home Pc, I think that it was about in 1999, but those magazines always arrived my country one year later...There I discovered some demos of exile 1 and 2, at the first I didn't liked them, and I couldnt understand them anyway, I learned to love them with time... Yes when one crystal beggins to hiss or something you must back away from it, after some time it will stop and the job is done. Posts: 446 | Registered: Friday, July 22 2005 07:00 |
