Avernum 5 is currently being worked on. There is no doubt that Geneforge 5 will come out, considering how well-accepted the fourth was. A new series? It's different enough if you are running a bunch of tree hugging Roman druids. Jeff went through and gutted every loop hole I found in the old game. He really is making the Roman side for fighters only although that is being revised. I miss having a well dressed Roman druid running around in blessed chain mail and large shield. Being able to ignore encumberance penalties because they don't apply to spells. At least I reached darts of ice and can kill more than 1 target per blow.
