The editor is one of those things... It borders on the line of good and evil. We can use it to do good, but in our stubborness, we often don't. We can use it to do evil, and when we do, we always find a way to assure ourselves that nothing scandalous has occured before the "save as" button is clicked. No one knows exactly why it was created. But we're too afraid to go in and deactivate it, like the guardians to Grah-Hoth's realm. It's best to set it aside, and only use it for healing when you have a break in a dungeon. Otherwise, don't tread too close. :( -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! And then I catch some flies! They fly into my webs! He's cowering out in the back by a little pond. Ask him: "Say, does your name happen to be Elram?" and he attacks you. Kill him, and go back to whatshisname to get your meager reward. -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! And then I catch some flies! They fly into my webs! Does that mean people age faster? Oh, and I'm pretty sure that at least some months go on for more than 28 days, because once I was just waiting and waiting for the next month to come, and it went past 31, and went all the way to about 38 or 40. -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! Well, it doesn't seem to take 200 hours while walking around outside! Or does it? Some of those distances outdoors are pretty screwed up. How many months are there? Suncome, Icefall, Leaf-fall, Empire, Radiane, Rememberance, Frost, any more? And don't the months generally have 40 days? -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! Maybe, but that demon Prazac acknowledged that the Empire would end up paying for its crimes against Aver/Exile and the Vahnatai. It has to happen eventually. I wouldn't mind another Empire war. I didn't feast on enough of their horrible entereils during the first one. Sometimes, at the Red-pass gates I had already gotten experience from by passing, I wanted to walk up to them with some a gray pass and a crystal soul and say something like: "See this, Imperial filth? We took these from deep inside your dungeons slaying your master's cohorts and ruining your twisted projects along the way. Who knows? Maybe we killed one of your brothers or your best friends! We hate the Empire and dare you to attack us. You see, it must be extra frustrating for you seeing that you have no chance because we've proven our strength in your pathetic excuses for 'fortresses.' In fact, we have in this urn the ashes of the head of your pitiful Garzhad, whom, along side his demons and Dervishes, we dispatched of with great ease. We also broke into a ladies locker room in Pyrog's Lair, cast Control Foes on your daughters, and raped them, before breaking the Pheonix Egg we found in the high-security building there, incinerating everything in your now ruined fort. There are some photos in our pack if you want to see. We put them with the special items. We would also like to thank you, on behalf of all Avernum for your stupidity of declaring war and painstakingly teleporting down all kinds of food, metal, and other goods so you can have them stolen and your troops slaughtered by us. We will now accept a sacrifice of ten beaten, chastised Empire Dervishes with their legs, arms, and most personal apendages brutally removed with poisoned saws so that we may laugh and spit in their faces before we go on our merry way to destroy more of your overconfident Empire one cell at a time. If you refuse to cooperate, we will force you and the Dervishes to writhe in some worse agony. What we've done before and what we demand now is more than you deserve. Thank You." :) -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! And then I catch some flies! They fly into my webs! The difference between Fireblast and Divine Fire is that Fireblast can kill goblins, but Divine Fire is able to kill goblin fighters. Most of the time. :( But at least DV only costs 7 SP! :D -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! And then I catch some flies! They fly into my webs! I always use custom characters: Human melee warrior (who also happens to use the lockpicks), Slith pole-weapons warrior, Priest, and Mage. Pretty generic and absolutely pathetic, but it works the way it should. By the way, the six-character parties are not coming back for A4. -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! *singing* Oh, Bahs, I was lost and you found me, But I need ya' today!... I have my own little thing to add to this forum: When fighting the mind-bending Drake Lord in the beginning, take away all weapons, potions, scrolls, missiles, combat and speed-enhancing armor, etc. away from the first character. This will keep you from wasting valuable Heroic Brews and lower the chances of your other party members being torn to ribbons. (did I say that right?) -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! And then I catch some flies! They fly into my webs! Canopy wasn't that bad... except that you're not allowed to actually win the game, and that for all the times I've played it, my people are now un-un-un-un-un-dead. I sort of liked the Nature's Hand wand. It could kill just about anything for very little Spell Points, especially wizards. And Baldev the tiger is cool, too. By the way, does anyone know how to get into the little secluded room in the tiger's den? The one with the rune blocking the way? -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! It doesn't matter, since Bahssikava is perfect anyway. Kelandon has $500 coming soon. He should also get second, third, and "fourth through tenth" prizes. And be made a board monitor just for creating that one scenario. Speaking of which, I have a little question. I know A1 has the Lost Bahssikava, but does E1? I never registered it. -------------------- "Sometimes I get all hungry! And then I catch some flies! They fly into my webs!
