1. How do they spin those disks so far with their spindly little arms? 2. What does a pregnant Vahnatai look like? Or do they lay eggs? Or crystals? 3. How does one stitch mold into a cloak? 4. For a race that's so "superior," they sure have a lot of hatred to spread. 5. I have a theory. I asked if I could get a discount on Avernum 4 since I have all the Avernum games and because it doesn't sound like it may be very popular. Of course, the response was that all sales are done after the game is released, not before (but Jeff mixed it up and said before/after! :P ). Part of the reason I posted the poll was to get into a rant about how much I like the Exiles much more. Some people will forget the Empire war, but I WON'T!!! Garzhad was purely evil. The Empire took artifacts which ultimately led to war between two whole sentient races. The Empire looked to expand their territory and exterminate everyone below the surface. But then... the "merciful" Empress Prazac gave the ENTIRE nation of Exile the little square of land above Storm Port which was filled with gremlins, undead, and fire lizards. Thank you sooooo much, for giving us $5,000 and 10 square miles of land (that needs endless yardwork) for saving your ENTIRE FREAKIN' SURFACEWORLD, and offering me to join your little club of "elite" dervishes who pillaged our villages, raped our daughters, and killed the people you already expelled, like Pus from the Pimple that is your Empire, which marrs the Face of the earth! We, who only tried to survive in the pit you sent us to, were attacked because we felt the sweet, bitter, sweet taste of the wine of vengeance dancing across our denied, eager tounges before spitting it out in thanks to the gods! Yeah, I sort of screwed up again with where to place this, but it started out with going between mainly Exile/Empire, then added the others because they are assumedly beyond E/A3 as well. The Abyss and the Vahnatai were givens since Avernum and the Empire are a part of the plots in most scenarios. The Anama is mentioned in Backwater Calls, and if it's accepted on the spiderweb software download board, then that too. That reminds me, I was wondering why all the custom scenarios take place in "backwater" provinces and valleys. No, this is in the Beginning! I can't even start the scenario this time, because Luciano (and the lizard in the little house on the island) doesn't even have a PERSONALITY! I'm sure some of you have heard of being stuck at nout with no boat or ship to hitch at the end, but I'm stuck at the BEGINNING! It seems there is an error, "failed to load t5luciado" and "failed to load t5luke" at the second town, so I can't get the first ride to the mainland. This is from the version I just re-downloaded, on Wednesday, August 17. Man, this scenario is so buggy, I have no idea why I'm playing it again. I am a traditional Catholic extremist who attends the Latin-spoken masses from the ancient days before 1962 and the Vatican II council, when 11 protestant ministers came up with a new ceremony that you see as the "mass" today in the movies. The eighth commandment from Exodus in the holy book of my religion forbids lying. If I wasn't telling the truth, I would have retracted what I typed, feeling some guilt along the several days since I wrote it, since there is the blessed option of revising posts. I have the same Meyers-Brigg personality type as Abraham Lincoln, and he is my favorite president. The first lie I told was only to a chronic liar, I don't lie to my mother, and it's difficult for me to even utter falsehoods to other people. Personal honor is also important to me. I guess a couple of real times... In fourth grade, I got upset over nothing and was was dragged off kicking and screaming into the office in front of my entire class. THE FOLLOWING TEXT IS A TRUE STORY. I SWEAR ON ALL OF THE HONOR I HAVE THAT IT IS REAL. The other time, which I still live with, is on this past Christmas Eve, when I hanged myself. I wasn't trying to commit suicide or anything, I was just doing some stupid experiment, and I went unconcious before being able to get down. MY HEART AND LUNGS LITERALLY STOPPED WORKING. I WAS, BY DEFINITION, DEAD. My brother found me, running straight into my dead, hanging body, and the neighbor, who is a firefighter, resucitated me, but my neck organs were severely damaged, and I had gone into a coma. I was in the hospital for four days hooked up to machines, and when I woke up, I didn't know where I was. After over month and a half of recuperation, I was able to return home, shocked that my original door was taken down my stuff had been moved to another room on account of the fact that my mother and one of my brothers couldn't stand to imagine me being in there and the possibility of opening the door and finding me like that anymore (I'm back in my old room now, though). I have to live through the embarrassment from different people, day after day, many of whom automatically assume it was a suicide attempt before I have to sheepishly explain as best I can, which is difficult to do, since I'm not sure what happened, and some of my memory has been lost. Well, I was giving a long press release on national television about the expantion of Argentina's economy, and I made the point that it was a good thing that small businesses had stuck their noses up at big American corporations like IBM, when I was privately brought the news from the information feed in my ear device that all six ambassadors to and from America and China and Argentina were assasinated by a car bombing in D.C.. A reporter thinking it was time for questions, seeming to remember the situation of censorship raised his hand and presented the question of whether or not "this would affect foreign relations between corporations like Microsoft and China," since the American corporations would begin to see that people in unprivileged countries, whether by Communism or an underdeveloped national economy would be able to speak for themselves. Not remembering that the news came from my ear feed, and going into a panic, I said, "What are you talking about? Of course six important men dying in a random terrorist attack is going to draw attention worldwide! Run back home, but don't turn on your cars! This place could be set to blow! This interview is over!" Everyone looked at me worriedly, and some giggled, and I knew I had said something stupid. I blushed, apologized, and ran out of the room for a cigarrette.
