It is, but I mean its the same principle in this case: With out patience, meaning you are hasty, you're going to fail in all puzzles. Its as simple as that. I know you knew what i meant, you aren't as dumb as the average Runescape member I have encountered (may god forbid that). But still. I felt I had to explain it a second time.

1) I have a mac and PC: PC for scenario designing and mac for playing BoA, so I'll be using a mac for testing
2) Thralni is fine
3) If I have the time, sure
4) B.J.van.Soldt (AT) inter.nl.net

I'll be waiting for an email. I'd love top test something, as it will give me something to do besides playing Runescape and making my own scenario.

I don't want to spoil everything for you, but I myself am making a "Nephilim language," for my own scenario. I don't want to start telling everything here in the open, but if you want, i can send you a PM, saying what exactly it is I'm doing.

Yes, they also replace destroyed beams for as far as I can remember. Thanks for your support Aran.

Also the puzzle with the slith ghost that spawn all the time I didn't find to diffucult. Actually, all puzzles I didn't find to difficult. I was only stressed and irritsted by the many fights: things other can do better than me, but then get stuck at the puzzles, things I do better than them. It all comes down to a few things:

Hastiness: do you want to rush through it? then your bound to make mistakes, as I and aran already saidPatience: This is about the same as hastiness: if you don't have the patience, don't start with it at all.Interest: Some people just don't like puzzles. Some just don't like the beam puzzles. Sometimes it all boiles down to interest. I, for example, tend to not play a scenario in which I will have to fight a lot. A reason for me not to play Undead Valley, as I heard the amount of fighting is enormous. If I forgot to mention something, please say so.

Its really not impossible. Don't ask me how, because I myself don't quite understand how I did it, but I managed to solve the whole puzzle in ten minutes and leave the macinery part of the catacombs after fifteen minutes after entering it. I didn't think it was difficult at all. The only very important thing to remember is: DON'T barge in, thinking you can solve anything, but, everytime you encounter another problem take your time and think it all through. In the end its really not complicated. Just do it slowly, and not fast fast fast and then be surpised you don't undersatnd it.

Isn't it much easier to just designing maybe 50 small towns, and link them to certain stuff done flags? Then, while the player walks around in the tunnel, the player gets messages, saying "you hear stone grinding on stone and slight vabrations make you blah blah blah......." When this messages gets triggered, a certain town has been moved into another place, or a wall was shifted. This way you would get a huge number of possibilities and things to change. The only problem is maybe that in the end the player will get tottaly frustrated by the constant moving and changing of the tunnel.... I could actually easily make a story arounf this now that i think of it. This would make a nice scenario: "the tunnel of shifting rooms," or something like that. Good one, aran!

Okay, Spring, here's what t do: dowload the program with which you can start Runescape without having to first open the browser. You can find it under "extra files," if I remember correctly, on the main screen (home page). Now open it, and whenever the loading freezes (this happens to me a lot when changing worlds), you'll probably have to close down the whole program restart it. This, at least, works with me.

Aran, the music I was talking about, is a piece of music I composed myself. Its called "First symphony." The peice is actually only the first of four movements I'll eventually have write, but at least the first movement is finished. I sent it to some people, including Riibu, to see what they think of it. If you also want to listen to it, just ask and I'll send it to you. You'll need a notation program (Printmusic) to play it, though.

Can I go one time, of two times? If two, I'd first like to go forward, and profit of the new technology to make me know everything, then I would go back in time (about 50000 years or so) to the "third millenium," or in other words, the first and oldest millenium of the reign of the Sumerian kings.

Doesn't matter, Riibu. I'm at the moment also quite busy, so there's no hurry. I did get replies from several other people regarding this music, saying it was good (Thanks Nicodemus!). I hope you will think the same.

EDIT: I forgot to say: okay, eldibs. then we'll hopefully meet again. I'm always in the Dwarven mines, probably on less-bussiest world (this changes all the time, so we'll see what happens). Pity about next weekend. i think I also have things then, so I wouldn't have time either. Turkey... Sounds nice... *wipes away the dribble of his face*

I really advise you, Aran, not to think of it as "still 5000 words to go!" Think of it differently, like I do with mining in Runescape. Instead of thinking: "Still 500 coal to mine! Ugh," I think: "Yet another 100!" After getting these hundred I think: "Now lets try to get to a total of 1000 coal, that's just 200 coal more," which makes it much easier and less annoying. Try it.

When I do such a quest, i don't really do it for the reward (of course its important), but I ussually do it for the xp, the fun of finding things yourself, etc. I don't give a damn about armor. I want to make my own armor, and if I don't make it myself, i store it in the bank or just sell it if its something I can eventually make myself.

decpihered? all of it? How boring. It would be much more nicer if you yourself would have to think about it.

Anyway, I'm already level 54 in mining, so it goes fast. just yestreday I was only 53. Soon I'll be able to mine mithril and at 60, the mining guild! I hope the mining guild is alot quieter, without all these fools and beggars.

I'm so extremely excited! This plan of mining 800 coal I had (I already mined about 600-700, I think) Is finnaly getting me somewhere! I now manage to increase my mining level every day with 1, and its going rather fast, so i'm so excited! I'm now level 53, soon 54, then its mithril time, and then finnaly the mining guild!

I would really want to be a member, but my mother is in the way. She would NEVER allow me. It was a wonder she let me buy BoA!

OOC: Thanks, Frozen Feet. I have been waiting until somebody would ask me to post.

IC:

He was hit by something. a pain run through his body, eventually knocking him out. He fell, the mighty fire of the sword extinguished.

He woke up. He slowly stood up and looked around. he then spotted the small dart that. He removed it from his skin and looked at it. He didn't throw it away, but put it in his pocket. He may be possesed, but he does still wear his clothes. He closed his eyes and concentrated. Master. I have been tricked. they are gone. I can't find them. Send help. He waited for a few moments, until an angry voice spokje in his mind: WHAT! You lossed them! But how!? Edith... the one mortle who is clever enough. Search them! Keep searching for them! I'll send three Uruk-hai's. Five minutes later he heard flapping of wings, and three more of the dark creatures landed next to him. "Follow me," He said, and the four of them continued, the fire of the sword once again lighting up.

He inspected the cave where they had fought. It had caved in. Most of the routes where unpasseble. Then he saw two small openeing in the cave, left and right of him. From one wind was blowing, a cool soozing wind. the other was hot and sulfuric damps came out of it. He walked towards first the left, from which the wind came, and then the right, from which the damps came. He suddenly stopped when the mountain seemed to rumble and stone seemed to be grinding on stone. the rumbling stopped after a few seconds. The cool soozing chill had stopped, though.

"You two! Go and find out what that was!" he shouted to two Uruk-Hai's, and without questioning his orders, they took off and flew away.

"You! Come with me, and we shall see where this tunnel brings us." The Uruk-Hai flapped his wings and took off. Filbert followed, into the dark, filled with sulfuric damps, tunnel.

Call me an imbecile, but why exactly did you say I'm an imbecile? Does the almighty TM never make a mistake when typing in another language? Or are you just a... (Oh sorry, writing that makes me an imbecile, right?) god knows what you are.

And this short comment may make me a real imbecile, but I had to write it, albeit to annoy TM (or not): I have to apologize to Nicothodes, whom I promised to tell his future, but since I myself and the almighty chicken gods are quite busy, I couldn't find the time to do it.

It was quite a while ago that I posted something on this particular topic. Now, I do have another question. Its about graphics I made for my scenario. I already approached a few people about them, but I would like more opinions on them. Just realise, before you look at them, that none of them is finished. Certainly the Senarti 2 graphic has to get an enormous make-over. You can find the graphics here . Just click on the links "First graphics page" and "second graphics" page to view the graphics.

Just one thing: I'll make it clear that I'll eventually use this graphics, and no other graphics other then these. So please, don't start recommending other graphics.

I also ask you, the ones who do reply, to tell me what should be changed and why. "Just change it" is a reason I wont accept to change something.

In the case of "ruïneren," you pronounce it as roo-wi-ne-ren, or something like this (so quite like Thuryl said). Its hard to write it just like that in english. That's because of the "roo-wi" part. "roo" you have to pronounce like "loo," and "wi" like in "sea" or "to see." Its the ea in sea that's important.

TM: Yes, I am Dutch. I'm curious how you came to the conclsion of me being a hardrocker, or was it just a joke or something. As a matter of fact, i absolutely hate gardrock. give me Wagner, Dvorak or Mahler and I'm happy.

This is as bad as melee, so this you actually already said.

One thing I don't like about Runescape, is the community and not so much the game. However, I do like to tell people off when they irritate me, or fool them in a way. Like one guy that wanted to buy my helmet. I said that was okay. So he asked for how much. For 10k, was my answer. That got rid off him. It was quite amusing actually. About these jokes my main answer is: What jokes? I didn't really notice any jokes.

Now its your turn again and try to convince me with better reasons why not to play Runescape.
