It appears that our resident doppelganger is about to stretch his post count to five digits. In honor of his ability to secretly double post and then erase all evidence of his deeds, I think it fitting to spend a moment or two and remember where you wish to be, or were, when this happens/ed. For those of you who have succeeded in remembering the future, this will not be very exciting, but then again you already knew that. As for me, I'll be visiting in/near Boston, tucking into a crappy mass-produced meal at Applebee's near Sturbridge. I'll let you know what I ordered, but I already know I'll be staying away from their fish. Tuesday, 4-6pm board time. *this message sponsored by the hustler* -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I'm sure this will be one of those moments, like: "where were you when they knocked over the twin towers", or "where were you when they killed president kennedy"? As per me, I'd like to be just right here starring at the screen and just wondering, how did he possibly make it to 10,000 posts? Posts: 1035 | Registered: Friday, April 1 2005 08:00 |

I think we all know how he did it, but the suspense will be in if he has the guts to cease posting on that account when it hits 9999. *this message posits that post 10000 will be an accident* -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Your post count is the number of words I should have written every day of November till now. It is also rather higher than the average of the actual words I've written. :( -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. I was going to stop using this accuont at 9999 as another form of title protest, but now that you've mentioned it it's too trendy. Thanks a lot. —Alorael, who expects that he will be posting when he reaches post 10000. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

It is at least likely. Unless you're taking a vacation from posting and Motrax takes over your account to make that 10k post. :nods: -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast. Just so everyone understands, there's no change in title at 10,000 posts. I still have a few thousand to go before hitting the next bad Drakey joke. —Alorael, who is willing to believe that he'll hit the big fifth digit in two weeks. Then, sadly, he'll probably never get another digit again. It will probably take very close to exactly four years to reach five digits, and a sixth digit would therefore take around 36 more years. Two weeks? Shouldn't take more than 10 days, I say... I'm currently counting the days until I reach the fifth place in total post rankings. Kelandon appears to be taking a bit of a break... Edit: Who is Daniel Helman? I'm sure I've seen that name before somewhere, and now it's in Alo's profile. It's not really his name, right? It most certainly is. Edit: This was in answer to Stewboy. Seeing as I had to code the php program that did that, then upload the text file to Polaris, the slight lag might be excusable. Google Daniel Helman and choose "I'm feeling lucky." —Alorael, who is saddened by the lack of bribery for posting at specific times. Where is your sense of American ambition at the expense of good taste and good conduct? (For those of you who aren't American, shame on you for being unAmerican and probably heathen.)
