yes, that's it! "this is your onboard crash detection system, we are about to crash, what do you want to do." "uuuuuuhhh, I can't decide" "Steering prevents accidents" "Well yeah, but I'm baaaaad in that..." "Do you want to crash?" "Well not really, its just that..." "Then I think you should steer" "Well yeah, but.." KABOOM! It was something like that. The part directly after this I also find brilliant. -------------------- "remember, children, that chickens are your friends. you must only eat them when you've the appropriate oven and gardening supplies."- As said by Benjamin van Soldt himself. I have only one closet in my room, and I'm not big enough to fit in. Okay, stupid comment. Are you suggesting I'm gai? Or is it just strange what I said about Jesus (I don't believe in god, don't you think that i do) and the earth? if yes, do you suggest that I'm gai because I said that? because if that is the case... I won't continue to spare you a sermon of an enormous length. Belisarius, could you stop writing like that? It makes my murdering instinct live up, and I had to promise my mother not to kill half of town again. So, people, is this the real TM everybody has been talking about over the past few months? Will I be able to expect you Wise man? I'd like everybody who will be there or thinks he will be there at 18:30 GMT (London time, for those that don't know what GMT is), to post a post is he will be there. At the moment I'm still expecting Eagle, Wise man, Alex and Eldibs. quote:Damn. that was what I wanted to post. I think its ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. As is "the end of the world." The one part od the demented cartoon movie I really like, is the "evil professor" part at the end. I also like the part of that idiot of a driver who is about to crash, and his "onboard crash detection system" tells him so. Its reallt GREAT! Well, as many people he was too stupid to realise that a bank can save you in these situations. if he had just stored his money and stuff... Oh well  On the other hand, he has a good tactical mind. He did solve puzzles and helped me with things I didn't understand. or he heard it from somebody else and passed it on to me. But really, most people I know in Runescape are like him. Only 25% of the people on my list actually thanks me, say hi occasionally, ask me what I'm doing... And belive me, these 25 % mainly consist of you guys, the SW members, my school friend and some other people I teamed up with because we both died because of the same cause and we lost almost the same stuff. So who exactly will I see tonight? At the moment, I expect to see Eagle, Eldibs, Wise man and Alex. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Yes you can. When training, you should invest points in either defense or hardiness. i think hardiness was the one for Avernum 1 2 and 3, and denfense the one for BoA. You can look at the description of the two skills, and see by which it says something about AP. Invest in that skill. Every two invested points will reduce encumbrance with 1 point, letting your Ap rise again from 3 to 4. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. That depends. RW and RB are, for as far as I know, nothing more then two cosmic powers. A collsion between a ferret and an anti-ferret shouldn't be so violent that it could be responsible for the dichotomy of the powers. If it can though, then what where RW and RB before the dichotomy? I'm glad I didn't join you two when you asked me if I wanted to come :P I really should wait before I have realle decent armour (right now i can't make anything better then steel swords (still level 34, you see)). Until I made myself a full mithril armour (which will still take a loooooong time), I wouldn't go into the "wildy," As you two call it ( :) ). Now i have a small question for you guys. I'm going to tell what happened with one of my Runescape friends, and you explain to me his reaction, becasue I don't get it. I was mining, and then my friend came. we said nicely hello, and then he started asking for two free coal. After a while I gave up and gave him what he wanted, because he wouldn't go away (ussually I would give things, but now I myself am trying to mine at least 600 coal and 200 iron). So I give it to him, but he almost gets killed by one of the scorpions (this is in the Al Kharid mining site) and he runs away. About ten seconds later he says he is been killed and immediatly he asks for free stuff. Rule number one, don't come to me and then even ASK for free stuff. If I want to give, I will give. Anyway, I didn't have much to give him. After a few minutes, I remembered the steel full helmet that I got from somebody because I had helped him. I went to the bank, collected it together with a red cape and went to this friend. I gave it to him, but what was his first reaction: "Do you have more"! What kind of a reaction is that! I tolled him that if that is his attitude... Then he left me. After several message I got a PM saying he will take me off my list! I asked him why, but instead of just answering, he started counting seconds from 10 to zero. Half an hour later I got another PM of him, saying he was really sorry. We talked it over and we are friends again, but why did he did this in the first place I ask you? -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Okay, that's settled then. You can always find me in world 67. Otherwise in world 52. but only in world 52 when 67 is having problems. I'll go to Falador again and see how it all looks like. I was several times in the dwarven mines, but I only saw iron. I think I probably didn't explore it well enough. i was only looking for a better pickaxe. What you were saying about stealing ores, that's a good thing what you are doing, although i would have probably rejected your offer. I would have mined everything by myself for the xp, even if I would have waited for an hour. Its really a pity that so many people are so egoistic, like Eagle already said. Um... is there something I could bring you, Eldibs? As a sort of welcoming (well, not really welcoming...) present? Is there something you really need? I'm quite good in finding what I need... That's what I discovered over the past few weeks. -------------------- Play and rate my scenarios: Where the rivers meet View my upcoming scenario: The Nephil Search: Escape. Give us your drek! You're absolutely right, Eagle. Just now I had a gril that looked for a bronze pickaxe. I run a small pickaxe bussiness, looking for n00bs who would want to pay 100 gold for it (and I find them!). Now this girl was a beginner, and had only 15 gold, so, I just gave it to her for 15 gold, instead of being harsch and call her noob. Something that greatly irritates me is this: you are happily mining and then there comes such an enormous pest, such an idiot, a fool a god know what. He asks you for you mining level. i say 43. And then I'm a noob! Only becasue his mining level is 50 and he uses a rune pickaxe! Can you believe that!? I hope to see you indeed eagle, and you too, Eldibs. Also, i hope to see Wiseman and Alex again? It was fun seeing you as a ghost, alex. About the mines: Yes, I know the ones in the barabarian village. they are just, as you said, too crowded. I'now mining in the Al kharid mines in the desert. Its more efficient, but the scorpions are really irritating. I really like John Williams. His pieces are generally extremely difficult to play (at least for my orchestra), but I like it. Mads, don't you picture this: Somewhere in a swamp, zombies and skeletons crwal out of their graves, then, Die Walküre of Wagner starts playing, you run away, in terror, filled with fear, you come to the end of the swamp and music dies down. You look around you and see you are in a beautiful forest, the Meistersinger von Nürnberg starts to play. Or, if you died, you hear the Gotterdamerung of Wagner. Its extremely dramatic. Or, when the skeletons start to rize out of their graves, there you hear it! Its the Dans macabre of Saint seans. I could go on like this for quite some time. Just use your imagination. Of course, our tastes may differ too. -------------------- Thralni's almighty Avernum pages: My webpage, containing scenario's and graphics made by me (And maybe someday the homepage of the almighty chicken gods).
