I'm John, 13, and live in California. Someday, I'll do something memorable on this board. But until then, you don't have to even notice this post. -------------------- I HAVE LOCATED MY CAPS LOCK KEY AND FEEL YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT! Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

No variables? C'mon, you gotta love variables. Anyway, using tags can make scripts much sexier. You must complete these steps in order: 1) Solve roach plague. 2) Slay Khoth, Sulfras, and Athron. 3) Solve slime plague. 4) Kill Erika. 5) Solve Trog/Giant plague. 6) Solve Golem plague. 7) Destroy Alien Beast breeding pools in the center of the Keep of Tinraya. 8) Return to the Portal Fortress. Press button. You will be transported to a secret level. Well, actually, it's more of a secret hoax, because this entire post is just a trick. Okay, a message to all future people who will leave the boards forever: don't. Or at least, don't tell us. Because then we post all these awesome reasons why you should come back, except you don't read them. I suppose all future boards-leavers could make threads about why they hate us :( and leave if no one can convince them to stay... -------------------- I HAVE LOCATED MY CAPS LOCK KEY AND FEEL YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT! I happen to use the normal arrow keys (not the number pad) in conjunction with the mouse, and it works great for me on my PC laptop. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

I was talking to my Uncle, who happens to live in Iran. He told me the President's main duty is to keep propaganda circulating about how the Supreme Ayatolah(sp [hell I'm not even sure if that's the title]) is an awesome dude. So conspiracies about the President of Iran really don't matter. Okay, for those of you who don't speak German, he was saying, "Goddamnit Mark! I am not Winnifred! I am Marvin! I am the Walrus! I am the Egg-Man! My hands are not sanitized!" And later, "I have ****** my green trousers. Later, I'll go take a walk and **** all over some old ladie's skirt, thus unsanitizing my hands again." Anyway, I couldn't stand to watch more than 5 minutes of that damn demented movie. Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

But it's supposed to be invisible! I say you just claim that the thing is in the scenario and attribute all sorts of normal things (weather, grass, and whatnot) to it, but never actually put it anywhere in the scenario. That would be the closest interpretation of it's mystical properties. -------------------- I HAVE LOCATED MY CAPS LOCK KEY AND FEEL YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT! 1) Make sure it's named right. 2) The scenario intro text is set to use it. Without any other information, I can't be of much more help. Consider telling us whether you're getting an error message, the scenario isn't loading, or the intro text is skipped, and so on. -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Another? Wait, I don't want to know... My most bloody time was when I slit the part of my index finger between the nail and the fingertip. So it would be vertically from my rather short nail to about halfway through my finger. At least it was a clean, full cut with no bits of flesh hanging seperate from the two halves. -------------------- I HAVE LOCATED MY CAPS LOCK KEY AND FEEL YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT! A search for "primaryism" yields two things of note: 1) A page on this site where someone mentions their first character getting a name by "primaryism", but which I can't link to because Google is such a *****. 2) Some person named **** ****. Someone let me in on this. EDIT: Primaryism, as I stated above, yields a post on this site. I found it completely by accident: http://www.ironycentral.com/cgi-bin/ubb/ubb/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=17;t=0015 63;p=2 Here is the post: quote: [ Thursday, August 18, 2005 15:45: Message edited by: Not I ] -------------------- \/ Do not trust anything the following poster has to say. \/ Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

Well, Thuryl and Drakefyre have looked through at least parts of Avernum 3's code; they probably came across something that might have been the SDFs. And then you can always set flags and travel throught the entire Avernum world to check if anything's changed. Then there's Blades of Avernum, which most people would consider an Avernum game... -------------------- quote: Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |

quote:No, it's definitely his hair. See how the his right-hand sideburn ends just shy of the middle while his left continues almost to the bottom of his ear? It's definitely not shadowing, because it's too thick and dark. To prove this, inspect his lower cheek/jaw. The shadow there is clearly, well, shadow. Now compare that to the anomaly in question. See the difference? -------------------- \/ Do not trust anything the following poster has to say. \/ Posts: 1115 | Registered: Sunday, May 15 2005 07:00 |
