Also, it was a splinter cell of vahnatai that clued in the Empire as to the value of the revered gemstones. The Empire made the rational choice by taking the perceived advantage. The bad guys are the vahnatai who had an argument with the leadership. *this message sponsored by Ree-bok* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Another medically intriguing problem of hospitals in the 1800's was the transmission of other diseases by doctors visiting multiple patients without "scrubbing" between visits. I would be curious to know how doctors in other cultures dealt with this issue, or if indeed they had already discovered that cleanliness was a boon to their patients. *this message sponsored by ether* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

In A2 there is a checkbox in preferences for full-screen mode. Unchecked, it leaves about a 1.5" border around the A2 "window." This makes it simple to switch back to another app quickly. Also, any blinking taskbar items are easy to notice. Edit: A1 also has this option. I would assume it carried to A3. *this message sponsored by planet express* [ Monday, September 19, 2005 21:50: Message edited by: Jumpin' Salmon ] Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Will have pics soon of the bloodbath. *this message sponsored by the number 16* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Wow. Over 2 years you were registered and just now have made your first post. I think that's some kind of record. As far as coordinates go, PC - there is no mechanism for coordinates. One must guess, and I believe 0,0 is the upper left corner of the map. Mac - you can request coordinates from some menu dropdown. *this message sponsored by Arctic* -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

quote:Seems to me that there are many excuses. The biggest excuse is the size of the company. Not many of the larger gaming companies could boast that it only takes 3 people to develop, test, market, and support a game. The nine month turn-around time isn't too shabby either. *this message supported by unsolicited advice-givers anonymous* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

That key is a special item, and it is dropped by the vampire after the third fight in his castle. The text reads something about green mist and seeping through the floor. *this message sponsored by t7vahkohs.txt* -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

The only thing I remember about that scenario is that you need to spend a lot of time traveling between the vampire and the ruler of the city. Maybe that is the answer?? *this message sponsored by the truesite for blades* -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

A genius? Here I sit writing the umpteenth draft of a technical paper at 9:30pm. Some genius. The only thing I have for relief is the hope that Sunday will be a good fishing day, with calm seas and an ocean filled with tuna, halibut, and salmon waiting to jump into the boat. Because on Monday it's back to the grind. Sigh. *this message sponsored by the international brotherhood of procrastinators local 213* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Animal "oil" usually comes from fat or blubber. My question therefore is: Is there a direct correlation between the disappearance of fat snakes and the historically recent decline in snake oil medicine? *this message sponsored by snake oilers local #112 (disbanded)* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Anything by Hawthorne or Poe , although Poe may not satisfy your length requirement. Both are dark authors, who portray human guilt through dramatic imagery. Not my favorites, but quite appropriate for someone in 10th grade. *this message sponsored by the letter A* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

quote:Yes. This is why that car was great. I broke through 5 fence posts without hurting one. Much. As far as the driving like a tank response, that is the whole point. Until you have years of experience, you need to drive consistently and reliably so that you can learn how other drivers react to moves you make. Being in a tank makes it very difficult to swerve in and out of traffic, therefore less likely to cause an accident. If you feel the need to drive a crotch rocket, go with a friend to a race track and rent some time there. Most states have tracks where you can pay money to use the facility. One thing you accomplish is learning what movement a car can handle, and what it can't. People do get seriously injured and killed on these tracks, just like on the road, so be careful. *this message sponsored by detroit steel* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |
