From the guy in the SW corner of the valley. The place with talking animals and such. He has it, but you need to know someone else to get him to talk. *this message sponsored by the search button* -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

This idea of furbies carrying out surgical procedures fills me with glee. Can we make them evil furbies too? Unsterile tools and rusty implants? Also, will the conspiracy getting the fewest votes be permitted to redistribute votes to the other conspiracies? *this message sponsored by area r37w-g* -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I voted no because now is Oct 4th and his restraining order hasn't expired. When it is time, I would welcome him back if he would have us. Otherwise, I'll visit his other haunts. *this message sponsored by the lyceum* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Yesterday I had to finally resolve some MS issues at work. For some reason, or maybe a coincidence, any executable that had a name beginning with the letter A would not work. I finally had to use access, so I did the MS update thing and ended up installing 27Mb of stuff for the OS and 86MB of stuff for Office03. Luckily it only took 30 minutes to do all that, and the software now works again (even the non-MS stuff), but now I'm home, with the same software and OS and a dialup that reaches the blazing speed of 7kbs on a clear calm day. Simply put, I'm nailed. And Aran, thanks for explaining the monitor thing, you would be amazed how long it takes me to realize that the esc key is jammed down. I would rather walk away from the puter than figure out the problems. *this message sponsored by apple* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

It may sound dumb, but make sure that nothing inanimate is pressing keys. By that I mean the monitor, a piece of paper, or some gooey thing that is in the keyboard. *this message sponsored by jeeves* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Hi eris Welcome to spiderweb, please deposit your sanity at the door in the slot labeled "turtle chow." Do not deposit your wallet rubbish in there, the turtles have been known to run up credit cards even when provided with only the final four digits. They're pretty crafty... Edit - I misread the greeter schedule... *this message sponsored by Alex's Cartoon Company* [ Monday, October 03, 2005 07:57: Message edited by: Soxeye Salmon ] Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Is using terrain number 434 acceptable for a non-searchable terrain? I've got nothing else, since I'm at work, working hard, and can't be bothered to not work. Really. *this message sponsored by work* -------------------- WWtNSD? Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

Why is it that most fortunes are positive? How about some honesty, or at least some variation. Like mine. I'll screw up, make it better, lose money, gain money, find love, eventually one of us will die, leaving the other to a loveless period before dying themselves. And each year the gov't will take a little bit of my meager earnings to help build bridges to nowhere. Oh yeah, and my dog will die an uncomfortable death. That is all. I'm glad for Dolphin that her future is better than mine. :P *this message sponsored by nostradamus* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

I think we need a new poll. One question. Have you taken a course, or read a book, or had a discussion, regarding philosophy? Maybe then it will become clear why so many people treat the age of Drakey as some sort of miracle. *this message sponsored by living colour* Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |

According to others, it is "in the far northwest. Find the coordinates (7,45) — just south of the stone circle." Edit- Okay, just bothered to do this. Not sure it is as impressive as the effort expended, a normal party would not be able to slay that guy. Check the western edge of the map just below the river. *this message sponsored by the compass rose* [ Thursday, September 29, 2005 00:31: Message edited by: Jumpin' Salmon ] -------------------- quote: Posts: 4114 | Registered: Monday, April 25 2005 07:00 |
