Fair enough, and I understand the "close to home" bit as well. So I pose the question. How does this decision affect you personally? I mean, my neighbor could have a habit of eating dog crap, but as long as he isn't in my yard following my dog, I've got no problem with what he is doing. But that is me. Someone else may want the guy to stop doing what he loves.

Is this an issue (in Canberra) solely about the distinction between marriage and civil union? Also, please give some background. It is incredibly difficult to parse positions within and without government. Candidates (and seated politicians) change positions regularly, and it would be pertinent to be informed as to how long the various parties have held the positions.

:)

The new version is unfinishable. A variable block_entry call is somehow permanent, perhaps that bit could get updated before the rest of the testing?

Ash - The reason I asked "why?" was because you felt there was a need to discuss this bit of Australian political agenda. The concept of marriage has become highly charged as of late, with various governments deliberately using that term instead of civil union. I saw no net gain in entering the discussion, and the trollage was imminent. It looks like a lot of folks had fun though, even though non-Australians have a very hard time absorbing enough Australian politics to understand the ramifications of the decision.

You were asking because it was Australian politics, right? I would hate to think that you were putting forward another religiously motivated debate thread. Those get old, fast.

God could have injured his knee for all I care. The point remains that there are numerous other outstanding players on the pitch.

Huh?

England won their way into the 2nd stage. They are still in the world cup, and the absence of Michael Cole does not mean they are going to sit on their thumbs and stop playing soccer. I'm not convinced they have much of a chance in the round of eight, but counting them gone at this point is far too hasty.

That would upset my brazen prediction. Czech must win. :P

As far as the Group E/F matches coming up next, all I can say is that at least they matter. Groups C and D were not much to watch.

Promise to pay them a lot of money for doing the job well.

Don't pay them anything, and show them how they did poorly. They will learn eventually to do the perfect job. Until then, they are students.

No descriptions of the dragons are given, but it is assumed they exist because the fire comes out of the mound. It could be that a torch ignites methane gas that is released from the burial chamber when the tomb raiders create an opening.

As tomb raiding is universal, such a creature could be found all over the non-scientific world.

Or, there could be dragons.

Bruce Arena seemed almost smug in the post-game news conference. Same with Landon Donovan. God forbid the team actually score a goal. That will make them unbearable!

Actually Lazarus put me in the right direction to eliminate the unhandled exception.

In this case, it was caused by a G501.bmp file in the Data directory, as well as one in the scenario folder. Bad mojo. I moved it out of the data directory and everything was smooth.

I'll send another report of the later stuff.

Air Force pilots located within the USA are currently flying unmanned Predator drones over Ira_. Actual jets and bombers can kill from miles away. Tanks shoot over the horizon. At some point, and I'm not suggesting it is now, you just have to face your opponent in quick draw. The rest of it makes killing too easy, which makes the decision to kill easy as well. I don't particularly like that.

Make the person look like something (anything) other than a person. That isn't likely to stop them from getting shot, as SoT pointed out on the SciFi Channel. It just means it wouldn't be as deliberate.

If the light bending technique is used as camo, why not just use camo? Or to be more precise, have the fiber optics run a dithering process which breaks to outline of the human form into a semblence of the background.

It also sounds like a certain Preston B Nichols may have gained financially from the promotion of this hoax.

Why do people insist on believing the improbable, impossible, and unlikely??? Is it some form of faith?

Football at its best. If you still don't like football after a match like that then you are helpless.

Yeah, they were show-stoppers all right, I'm looking forward to the inevitable game versus Brazil. I hope there are no injuries between then and now, but Argentina held two world class goal scoring players on the bench as substitutes for the entire game. I just hope the Czech team lives up to their end of the bargain. I want to see that final!

Please post more than one line of script at a time.

That said, look to your last line containing parentheses. It is missing a right parenthesis.
