Simpler. Define human nature accurately and completely, and then create a system of governance that complies with it. But get it right the first time, otherwise internet pundits will have a field day with those failed attempts.

Sheesh. You guys have no imagination at all.

1. The X-Men changed the color of their insignia.
2. It is the beginning of a wonderful game of tic-tac-toe.

The Ivory Coast is in, for the first time ever. Other than the Olympics, which have few team activities, the World Cup is one of the few positive activities which ties the world together. It's nice to see.

On the bright side of things, at least Australia was good enough to make it into the World Cup competition. Many didn't.

I hate to point out the blatantly obvious, but that painting that is being used as evidence of some sexual relationship between JC and MM is not historically relevent. daVinci was a cool guy, with a wealth of ideas, but he wasn't a fantastic or prolific artist and he certainly wasn't present at the last supper. Frankly, I doubt he even knew anyone at the last supper.

He was a very well connected man, and his work has occasionally generated controvesy because that is what he intended. His patrons may have wanted to make an unpopular point, and his art was the method. I wonder if the work of Pablo, or Salvador, will provide some center to a yet to be written work. Or perhaps it will be discovered that The Scream contains the clues to the assassination of JFK...

The truth is out there.

Oregon has the CIM. Or CAM. Or both.

The multitude of tests is a tribute to test writers, and a heavy hint to graduating seniors that there just may be a good career out there in test writing. Best advice is to become good at it, then move overseas so that you can be out-sourced, to yourself. How sweet would that be!

They are also scared by Harry Potter, which says even more.

.. .

I just deleted most of what I wrote, as it was probably offensive to some deeply religious SW'ers. So ditto to the fiction comment, and to each their own. Long live capitalism.

I agree, actions speak louder than words. Maybe tie things together so that there is a pairing of a word set with an action set, the combination having a greater cumulative effect? And perhaps with a great negative effect if words and actions don't jibe?

Now, about BoA...

ESPN showed his (Barry Bonds) first homerun (June 1986) when he hit # 714. He was a skinny kid whooping it up when he hit that ball. Now, 20 years later, he is still playing ball and still happy as a clam to be able to do it. He is playing hurt because it does hurt to play that many years in the same sport. Hell, it would hurt to be a carpenter for twenty years and that is just as physical.

Whether or not he has taken steroids, hitting the ball that many times, that far, is a remarkable achievement. Having a career last as long as his, is a remarkable achievement. If there is an issue of children thinking that they can be better players if they take steroids, please persuade them otherwise. All it takes is practice. After all, I can pop it out of the park too, and I've never even trained, never mind taken the juice.
