Karma often reflects the reputation of an individual. Unfortunately, people are misjudged very occasionally, which makes Karma completely untrustworthy. I, for example, am misjudged often because of my eccentric behavior, optometrical handicap and lack of concentration. I have an optometrical handicap, which means that I cannot coordinate my body properly, and have problems with correctly assimilating information. Do not misinterpret this; This does not associate with intelligence at all. [ Tuesday, November 02, 2004 03:37: Message edited by: Mind ] Posts: 356 | Registered: Tuesday, April 6 2004 07:00 |

Spiderwebsoftware is working extremely hard for such a small company, in my insight. I can understand that Jeff Vogel has little time to listen to his customers and fullfill their wishes. However, I can also certainly understand the anger and hatred for Jeff from the other members. I've spend nearly 2 months working extremely hard to design an epic level for Warcraft III now. I would feel very depressed and embittered if something would keep me from releasing my map. Posts: 356 | Registered: Tuesday, April 6 2004 07:00 |

I decided to become more active on this forum again, and read a random topic. Then I read this discussion: quote:Sigh. This only confirms my suspicion that this forum is slowly destroying itself and chasing off all its' members. Is this forum really infested by swearing idiots and ruled by mindless tyrants? Threaten to ban me if you want. Ban me if you want. I'm used to both the tyrannous threatment and the idea that there is no democracy in this forum at all. quote:I assume that you think that you quote Einstein now. You know that Einstein did not think that everything is relative, as many people think? In fact, we wanted to call his theory the "invariability theory", not the "relativity theory". Edit: You can find the proof somewhere in Nigel Calder's book "Einstein and the universe", for those who would stubbornly disbelieve me. I regret to say, but the sphere in Blades of Avernum has became much less good. There are no more cunning creatures to fight, led by a genius, feared leader. There are no more courir jobs, the game is no longer "connected", there's absolutely nothing more to do when you've beated all scenario's, there's not as much to explore as in Avernum 1, 2 and 3, there's almost no water, and only one scenario has a ship to conduct, there are much less quests, there are no more characters from the previous games, and there are no more "teleport codes". I was just kiddin' about the Warcraft III movies, of course. Although the finale indeed had a very big impression on me, after I played the whole game and knew all about Arthas' life? -------------------- I'm not cursed at birth like my Avernum characters, but my birth is my curse. -The Great Misfit Posts: 356 | Registered: Tuesday, April 6 2004 07:00 |

I don't watch alot movies. Do Warcraft III cinematics count as movies? The Lord of The Rings is defenitely the best movie I ever saw. My characters are still overloaded with tons of treasure they stole in Stalker's fortress. So I left Morrow's Isle and went to Avernum, to For Goodling. But I can't find a shop in Fort Goodling. I'm certain I'll find alot of treasure on my way to Fort … - To my destination. But my characters can't carry any more items… Where must I sell my loot now? Where is this Hidden Empire fort the journalist in Buzzan spoke about? It is strange. Blades of Avernum is in medieval, but it looks pretty much like our world. What they call "magic" is obviously science. The warfare differs the most. Posts: 356 | Registered: Tuesday, April 6 2004 07:00 |

I find it very pity that you can only choose a limited number of options in a conversation. Those things you say in a conversation, you possibly haven't find out yourself yet, and things you suspect, you can't tell. Why can't you type things in conversation? With substrings or something. That shouldn't be that hard to programmate. If you could conversate that way in Blades of Avernum, I could have told to Jaen that I suspect that the Hill Runners are getting help from … SPOILER …The Vahnatai. When I visited Fahl, and heard from Sunde that the walls were destroyed with one fireblast, I knew someone extremely powerfull must have done this. A Vahnatai. Perhaps Rentar-Ihrno himself. If I could proof this, the Empire would have realised that it's wrong to ignore the carnage here that much, and at least evacuate the island and send their mighty armies to engage the war against Rentar-Ihrno. Karma does matter IN GENERAL. It tells what people think of you, most of the time. If you post over 10 posts per day and have 1 karma, that's far from good. Karma doesn't matter TO ME. Nobody rates me because I'm not very active in the first place, and only on the general boards. If you post only very few posts per day and have 1 karma, that's ok. Errm? They're more like "standing ones". If cats were descendents of the nephils, they should call "fallen ones". What does "Nephar" mean? Edit: Perhaps they call "fallen ones", because they "fell out of the tree", which means they can't climb anymore. This might sound ridiculous, but do you know a better statement?
