(Only kidding Aran! :P )

As for number 42, I don't remember him/her - I looked at his/her profile (Kam... something) but I still don't recall...

And besides, numbers 666 and 1984 would be much cooler.

The fact that someone is calling me the smartest here is merely flattering. The fact that someone else argues that and then says he was joking is outright scary. Seriously, the boards aren't such a load of duffers. Look at Thuryl. Alorael. Alec. ef. Saunders. Hell, TM. Spiderweb is a place where genius (as well as idiocy of course...) accumulates like uranium in an enrichment plant.

And Kamakaski (I keep confusing him with Kakashi) is either gone or banned, can't remember which. Maybe banned, unbanned and left or something.

There is a belief (how widespread or credible I can't judge) that disorders like Asperger's, Attention Deficit and Bipolarity are diagnosed (and even treated with medication) more often than they actually are a disabling factor. As the article states, "geekiness" (low social/emotional intelligence coupled with high rational intelligence) is not the same as autism.

They can't. But since they can also not have two horns, or three horns, or any other amount of horns, the answer must be one.

They can't have one or any amount of horns. So the answer is still definately not one. However, if a unicorn were found, by definition it would have one horn. So that unicorn does as do all of them that exist.

What if a unicorn exists and you surgically remove its horn? Is it still a unicorn? I think most people would say "yes", so it seems clear that actually having a horn is not a definitional property of a unicorn.

For most animals, the physical properties at maturity or in a natural environment are the defining ones.

(Was going to say "birth", but realized that next to no animals are born with their horns).

By the way, the above definition helps nothing. How do you define the mother and father as a unicorn? Do you have to trace a unicorn's ancestry back to a Primal Unicorn to define it as such? And what if a unicorn mates with a horse? Is it a uni-mule?

Wrong.

Rather than try to go through all the other misconceptions, here's the wikipedia article on Asperger's Syndrome.

Note that it states that Asperger's is often paired with high non-social intelligence, but nowhere does it state that it either causes or requires it. It also notes that self-diagnosis is highly inaccurate.

This lists the official diagnostic criteria.

Theoretically, the third should also prevent people from posting threads like this. However, in the absence of natural predators, this kind of intelligence is no longer a survival trait. They all left... :(

I think we should randomly delete people based on the karma votes they're getting. And based on whether they start threads like this.

"Mary Jane" might be what spy meant. I don't know where the custom of substituting fictional names as a pseudonym for real drugs came from, especially since there appears to be nothing in the CoC about it. (There is something about "discussing illegal activities", but the name itself is not illegal).

Change doctors.

Edit: *glue*? Not sew? I'm not very proficient on medical procedures, but I didn't know you could glue a wound. Then again, it might work depending on the glue...

This thread is beginning to become a pain to eyes and mind. Is there something worthwhile that can be added to the discussion, or are we going to repeat the last 3-4 related topics?

Two hours ago it was 6:39 here. That was six minutes before I went into the shower, so I probably was surfing this board or Polaris (or checking mail).

Nothing particularly eventful in the shower. I was planning to eat some breakfast, but instead I found a few interesting threads to reply to here, and then I went to work. :P Now I shall have to wait a while.

For some reason, the tooth that I had a root canal treatment in nearly half a year ago has started to act up - I can't take a drink without pain slicing through it. I'll have to see the dentist this Friday.

Half an hour ago, I arrived. Since then, nothing particularly interesting has occurred.

Edit: Oh wait, I got shouted at a bit because I forgot to make a certain change to a program I was working on yesterday. Fun.

The Vell-Os would win because he's from the best game of the three. That, of course, is just a personal opinion and as such has marginally less value. Especially since I did not have the time to back it up with a page of ramblings. :P

If you take the time to read the thread again (laughter is healthy, so I recommend it), you will find that in fact I was. I have not yet received any follow-up (such as a mad scientist in a white labcoat taking me away for surgery), but like Dolphin and Ash, I'm not particularly impatient for it.

TM has gained celebrity status several times over years ago, and you of all people have been here long enough to know this. The reason people are asking who he is is because there's an entire generation of newbies who have never seen him.

Rentar-Ihrno, according to popular belief and quite possibly game canon, is female. And since she did not die in the confrontation in A3, and Vahnatai very rarely die of old age, what reason is there to make her an "exiled" Crystal Soul similar to Casser-Bok?
