I agree. I always think it's rather silly when politicians are forced to resign because of an extra-marital affair. The argument seems to be, if they can't behave honestly towards their wife then they can't behave honestly when governing the country/city/etc. This is a fallacy. Maybe in an ideal world honesty would equate to absolute truthfulness in all things, but down here in the real world, people do not behave identically at home and at work. One's personal and professional lives need not even overlap, let alone coincide. -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image. You need a crescent stone, which you get by killing one of two special monsters. One of them is in the western wastes, if I remember rightly. As for what's inside the shaper crypt: lots of dead shapers. What do you expect? Just because they're dead doesn't stop them attacking you, however... Even this average-level post volume has only been achieved by incessant spamming, and is unlikely to be maintained in future months. The underlying problem seems to be the low number of active members. I'll see it when it comes on TV, and not before. I rarely go to the cinema (last film I saw was around Christmas - last year) and I don't think I'll waste my money on a Bond film. Daniel Craig has had good reviews, for what it's worth: 'Brilliant' Bond seduces critics. -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image. Oooh! An Avernum thread. What a nice change. :) I didn't find those fights too bad, although admittedly the ability of mung demons to fire their dumbfounding ray through walls the other side of the town is rather irritating. Nonetheless the hardest part of A1 for me was acquiring all the parts of demonslayer, I lost count of how many times I went through that ****ing slith temple. -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image. Well I used a heck of a lot of canisters on that game... For clarity, the ending I describe says that you "didn't complete all the tasks Zakary set you". Actually I did, but I didn't go back and tell him so. As Randomizer said, you must report it to the proper person, so bureaucratic. Anyhow, I'd never seen this ending before and was somewhat narked to see it now, considering all the services I had rendered to the shapers. -------------------- "I can't read this thread with that image.
