Meh, my posts are useless. I have no chance at top 10, so it's just a big pack of stupid, non-relevant information that we could all go without.

Thus, I'll go with my first instinct and stop the useless spamming.

Where are you getting your information from? Dikiyoba sees Jumpin' Salmon in second by a comfortable amount. See?

It's a prediction, not an update.

Yeah, and I'm not all that far out of the top 5. Don't count me out yet! And I think I've already passed Lego again.

(Salmon, I thought that was somebody impersonating you...)

I've dropped so much in only a little over a week. Beta testing is dropping my post count too much. I won't even make it back in the top 10 at this rate.

Concern appreciated, although I'm not sure anyone could do a decent impersonation. It's rare when coherence accompanies insanity.

Seriously. After a homework-filled weekend, I return to this thread, scroll through two pages that I missed, and discover that I didn't miss anything at all. Saying something is not equivilent to having something to say.

That's sort of the point of this month's threads: quantity over quality.

Of course. That's a fundamental precept of spam.

Without quantity there is no way to determine quality. When one speaks of the quality of posts, and fondly remembers the days of yore, one is forced to also remember that vast quantity of posts from which to cull your quality.

I'm sure there is a mathematical formula in there somewhere, but I've been taken off numbers for the time being. It's that sharp jolt in the neck....

:P

Not to mention the subjective elements of quality, whereas quantity can be judged very easily and objectively. Thus, it's a safe bet to go for quantity, whereas quality is a risky move.

Tyran, it's getting old. :P

Up to places from yesterday, but it's a tough slog back to the top 10. I may develope the keyboard equivalent to writer's cramp.

Now December will be different since Geneforge 4 will be out and I get to dispense bad advice and answers. I've got a few new topics to start using information from the game.

Could you give it a break for a few posts, and maybe only include it where it can be found either amusing, beneficial, or constructive?
I know I'm asking a lot for you to tone down on your new catchphrase... but even the spam is getting worn out from the verbal abuse of your raucus cheer.

Now you know why I decided not to have a posting gimmick. Well, posting a lot could be considered a gimmick, I suppose.

In idiomatic English, one would usually say "the fluffy turtles must have been very hungry". Just thought you might like to know, in the interests of learning and all that.

Edit: My contribution to this topic has nothing whatsoever to do with the proximity of my post count to 500. ;)

Dues are $25 a quarter, more if you employ a gimmick, less if it sucks. Please contact Strout for more information.

To forgetting your password!!!

You could e-mail it to yourself. Or you could ask *i or Drakey to tell it to you. (One of the "nice" features of UBB is that admins can see your password. In fact, you should assume that admins of any message board can see your password.)

EDIT: Looks like I missed the last page. This post will be edited in with something slightly more relevant.

EDIT2: After reading the page I've missed it appears my post is just as relevant as the rest of this thread. :P

Be careful with a word, as you would with a sword,
For it too has the power to kill.
However well placed word, unlike a well placed sword,
Can also have the power to heal.

123 posts. I'm shocked at my ability to say a lot but not really contribute anything. Much like this post. Actually, it 124 posts now.
