Man I leave for a day and look what happens. Not really much of anything. But I will maintain my spot. Hopefully. [ Friday, November 10, 2006 21:03: Message edited by: Andraste ] -------------------- You acquire an item: Radio Free Foil Posts: 1169 | Registered: Monday, September 23 2002 07:00 |

It probably won't happen. Unless this goes massively off-topic, this thread won't be closed. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

It seems that the smart voters are waiting for the end of the month to add to the tally of the 201-225 class. Well done. Now all we have to do is silence the boards during the next few days, while building up anticipation for Homeland:Evacuation (or whatever is coming out on the 20th of November.) That will bring the posting rate down to the majority position of 126-150, where it belongs. :P Posts: 143 | Registered: Sunday, October 29 2006 07:00 |

Well, this thread is about posting stats, and everyone here is talking about posting stats, so I don't know why that would be so off-topic. -------------------- I tried to think of something witty to put here. Needless to say, I failed. Posts: 2686 | Registered: Friday, September 8 2006 07:00 |

I just had a funny mental image of this thread suddenly turning into a useful, serious discussion about something non-spammy, and getting locked for it. [Edit: Since Dikiyoba can't say it in the thread Dikiyoba would like to, Dikiyoba will say it here. Alorael, you've just made Dikiyoba's day. :D ] [ Saturday, November 11, 2006 11:53: Message edited by: Dikiyoba ] Posts: 4346 | Registered: Friday, December 23 2005 08:00 |

quote:I could discuss how odd that a poll open to public viewing prior to the vote selection could be shaped like a bell curve. It would appear that quite a few people voted on how other people post, and then posted at a rate which guaranteed an incorrect vote. The statistical chances of that happening should, however, be discussed in the statistical discussion thread that will have been formed 2 hours prior to the closure of the Stats Poll. ;) Posts: 143 | Registered: Sunday, October 29 2006 07:00 |

Usually I'm all for testing limits and such, and discovering what powers exist, who has them, and when they are used. But, that was the old me. See, now I know the answers to all those silly questions. And they scare me. They should scare you. Posts: 143 | Registered: Sunday, October 29 2006 07:00 |

quote:I must say that Invision's topic-splitting option tops UBB's in elegance. There, it is even possible to merge a topic into another (and move posts between topics), although the one time I tried it, the result confused the hell out of everyone involved, so I didn't use it again. Apparently, it's only really useful when one of the merged topics has 2-3 posts, not when both are full-length discussions. -------------------- Encyclopaedia Ermariana • Forum Archives • Forum Statistics • RSS [Topic / Forum] My Blog • Polaris • I eat novels for breakfast.
