I use a Radeon X800 PCIE. Regardless of the fsct that I have that somewhat powerful card, I prefer games which require nowhere near that amount of power: http://www.bigbluecup.com/ is an example. -------------------- Inconsistently backward. How about someone just making one hell of a long cutscene in BoA or an engine of their own or something and call that the 'movie'. -------------------- Inconsistently backward. SWOH. IM, PATF, ND. Posts: 612 | Registered: Saturday, October 13 2001 07:00 |

I reccomend you listen to quiet/thoughtful/emotional/'humble' music. The ones I prefer are Guitarou.mid, Galaxia.mid, which can be found on Google, and Track number 10 MIDI on the Monkey Island 2 soundtrack, but everyone has different tastes. Anyways.. Consider the cycle of life. Consider that any path of exit from this life is identical to any other in it's target, and that everyone will choose a means of depart, whether this world percieves it as accidental, natural, or deliberate. If you use instant messaging, dump your thoughts into the most suitable person on your contact list (not to stereotype, but that would be the sort of persons where their Desperance:Spidweb posting ratio is higher on the right.) And of course, keep her alive in your own mind, since that can't die. -------------------- Inconsistently backward. SWOH. IM, PATF, ND. Posts: 612 | Registered: Saturday, October 13 2001 07:00 |

It sucks, not to mention is ****. All of it. What particularly annoys me is how the 'artists' think they can get away with drawing 'artistically' without considering every commonly accepted physical law we know about the universe. (FYI, people have chins. These are strong, caused by the physical strength of bone. These bones do not collapse when one attempts to speak. Eyes do not have the capacity to turn into nothing but an outline when previously having occupied more amounts of face than is realistic.) Onto comics: A great way of telling if a comic is crap, is by if it's colour in every episode. If it's not, the author probably puts more time into decent humour than whatever semi-anime artistic crap he draws every day. I haven't seen every webcomic in existance, so this may not be 100% effective but it works for everything I've seen so far. When it comes to comics, apparently flashy (= ****ty) graphics are just to cover up the lack of any sense, plot, unique plot, or otherwise, the excessive cheesiness of the plot, unique plot, and/or sense. See Dilbert, Foxtrot, Calvin and Hobbes, User Friendly. -------------------- Inconsistently backward. SWOH. IM, PATF, ND. Posts: 612 | Registered: Saturday, October 13 2001 07:00 |

Probably once or twice, and I will never consider any attempt made by Alorael to discourage people from using the said signature truly morale unless Alorael has a lawful claim to a registered copyright, trademark, and/or patent in the said country where the Ironycentral server is hosted. -------------------- Inconsistently backward. quote:Eh? Are you talking about remaking Avernum in it or something? I don't think Jeff holds patent for games which let you make your own maps. Also, this is a networked game. If you don't redistribute maps you make, people can play that map, but not get the sourcefile (of course, this is technically possibly incorrect, but the protocol isn't even documented or anthing yet.) As for Crossfire, since Daimonin appears relatively new, there are probably less classes/races/etc you might find in a more finished game. Not to say it isn't playable, though; quite the contrary. -------------------- Inconsistently backward. SWOH. IM, PATF, ND. Posts: 612 | Registered: Saturday, October 13 2001 07:00 |

Daimonin currently uses the SDL engine which may or may not support Mac OS X. Therefore, if it does, you might even be able to compile the linux version on Mac - you'd have to try it. -------------------- Inconsistently backward. SWOH. IM, PATF, ND. Cruelly ironically, it's around for Linux too. If you use OS X, you might ask them on the forums for a port, since OS X is partially based on Linux or something like that. -------------------- Inconsistently backward. SWOH. IM, PATF, ND. Posts: 612 | Registered: Saturday, October 13 2001 07:00 |

What do you expect?
