Put in the Data directory, like the usual editor. Sound defaults to off, and can be toggled on under the File menu. Oh, and it's about 700KB now - I chopped off a huge amount of unused and variables, etc. and did some optimization, which results in a significant decrease in size from 1MB.

And if this does anything bad, don't blame me.

I never tried to play DM2 because poor programming meant the special spells continued AND all the dragons still existed even if you killed all of them in your first encounter with them.

Yeah, I thought of that. But that effectively halves the number of quests the designer can give. And a checkmark of greying would look nicer

Metapad has a line counter, and is essentially Notepad with some small enhancements.

Andrea, I know what syntax colouring is for. Notice that my post was not "why on earth would you want your code coloured?", it was "I don't need my code highlighted pretty colours to be able to code."

Anyway, I'm somewhat masochistic (have you seen me code CSS?) when it comes to code. I'm not intending to flame here, I just find coding easy enough without having to have my code highlighted.

It'd be nice if there was a 'finished' quest state, rather than just on/off. Say, you could display 'finished' quests in gray or so, and it would serve better to show how much the party has done.

T'would be backward compatiable with old scripts, because they can just use 0/1 for toggle_quest():

toggle_quest(0,2); //Finished

You've set Memory Cell 3 of the creature to '1', right? Also, you might try setting a personality=1 and similar.

Same as with BoE: As little monsters as possible, as little puzzles as possible, should require no work to complete and contain no tricky or hard to solve puzzles, since I don't like puzzles nor combat. I still haven't figured out why I like playing BoA/BoE, though.

BoA. I expect right now there's a huge flow of water building up against a blockage. When BoA scenarios start to get released, the blockage will get shifted and the scenario community will somewhat explode.

Essentially, In the long run, you're going to be able to play a looot of scenarios in BoA.
