Stughalf, if one has a right to life, then surely the definition of a right entails the ability to do with that right as one pleases, including waiving that right if one wants? Think of the example of a right to medical care; if one is ill, one is free to seek many types of medical care ("conventional" or "alternative"), or to not seek medical attention at all if one wishes. So why should people not be free also to live as they choose, including to not live at all? -------------------- I believe there are 15 747 724 136 275 002 577 105 653 961 181 555 468 044 717 914 527 116 709 366 231 425 076 185 631 031 296 protons in the universe, and the same number of electrons. -- Sir Arthur Eddington Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Oh, yes. Slime molds are wonderful little creatures. They exist as single-celled organisms most of their lives, but when food is scarce they band together into a mushroom-like structure and form spores that disperse on the wind.

No, it's fatness. It's a reference. Ask Djur if you really want to know, or just carefully examine your keyboard. Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

We need a proper controlled study. We should wait a while before declaring that the board is dominated by Australians. Right now, most Americans are asleep and Europeans... I dunno. At school/work? And no, it's Australasia these days. Oceania's kinda old-fashioned, and since 1984 nobody's really wanted to live in a geographic region by that name anyway.

It's the exact same topic, actually. Some newbie (or was he?) replied to it (in Korean, if you don't mind). [ Monday, October 13, 2003 01:07: Message edited by: The Lined Paper Man ] Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

Crashing your car is best for those who survive you. That way it probably won't be ruled a suicide, which is especially good if you have life insurance. Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

For the benefit of those of you with impaired browsers, that was some Asian language (Korean, I am informed) rather than utter gibberish. And I don't know who this person is or why they said my name. Well, one possible workaround is to give everything in higher-level scenarios absurd amounts of armour so the damage cap won't be reached, although that could sort of mess up fighter/mage balance. Should be. You could even make a bank of sorts in BoE, although you could only deposit amounts set by the scenario designer (like, say, 1000 gold at a time). Also, it would only be possible for banked money to be carried between scenarios by giving the party items to sell (which, obviously, take up valuable inventory space). -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure!
