Over here in the Yee-haw USA, we just pronounce it the way it's spelled.
Apparently, this pronunciation arose because U and V were once interchangeable, and people unaware of the word's origins pronounced it "levtenant", which quickly became "leftenant" because voicing that V is awkward.

And then there's the practice of adding extraneous U's to stuff. "Colour," "favourite," et cetera. Fewer letters means fewer typos...just something to ponder...
Neither spelling looks much like the actual pronunciation. In some ways, standardised spelling has done the English language a great disservice. Then again, it seems as if every language has to have something to make it unnecessarily difficult to learn.

Option-click was used for right-click in the Mac Exile series. Try that. If it doesn't work, try control or shift-click. If none of the four modifier keys work, I'm out of ideas.

h is humanoid, so H is a big humanoid. Logical enough.

Tharma's been responsible for quite a bit of Exile series fanfiction and fanart over the years. Not sure where you can find it all now, though.

Just FYI, a phrase like "the amount of heat" will set a physicist's teeth on edge. "Heat" is not a quantity; the word "heating" is used only to describe the transfer of thermal energy from one body to another.

Exactly. There are other things we do that create more antibiotic resistant bacteria than feeding antibiotics to animals, and there are other things that are more serious threats. i.e death tolls in tens of millions. Remember, 100 years ago, we didn't have antibiotics. So, if in 50 they've all stopped being effective, we're really just back where we started. Remember, the plague didn't end the world.

100 years ago, 50% of children died of infectious disease before the age of 5.

The problem is that even if you could make a 100% efficient energy conversion of light to light, it'll only be efficient as long as other things (such as your eyes) don't get in the way of the light. Which makes it pretty useless for seeing by.

Oh, and for the third question, "Chemicals are bad for you" is the right answer. Admittedly, everything's made of chemicals, but there isn't one that's not bad for you under the right circumstances, such as if a truckload of it falls on your head. Of the other two options, one's wrong and the other's silly.

CDs do have a metallic layer, but the data isn't stored magnetically. You'd need one hell of a magnet to physically distort the shape of a CD.
