What country are you from (DF, I mean)? According to my humble opinion, fall starts in september and ends on the last day of november. December is winter! Posts: 756 | Registered: Monday, August 4 2003 07:00 |

I agree with Seaweed. Where I am, leaves start to turn yellow in september, usually. Although it's been an unusually warm summer and it still seems to be +21 °C outside right now. (Which is 14:25 pm, not morning) When December starts, we've had the first snow already, in november or even october... Posts: 259 | Registered: Saturday, June 1 2002 07:00 |

We probably all live in different climatic zones. Fall with us here starts Sep/23, Winter starts two days before Christmas (officially, though the deep frost waits til January most of the time). Officially, it's from Spet. 23rd to December 21st. And that gives Jeff the most time to work, so it's likely the definition Jeff will use. I live on the east coast of the US. -------------------- "At times discretion should be thrown aside, and with the foolish we should play the fool." - Menander ==== Drakefyre's Demesne - Vahnatai Did Do It desperance.net - We're Everywhere The Arena - God Will Sort The Dead ==== You can take my Mac when you pry my cold, dead fingers off the mouse! Over here, each season officially starts at the start of a month. Well, this year winter lasted on the East Coast from...*recalls*...late November to early May. It was a really freakin' cold year in Philly. -------------------- "Man hands down misery to man. And I'll bet the next three years will feature winters with sunbathing as the popular pastime... Is it just Washington weather that's erratic, or is it the whole East Coast? -------------------- Polaris Posts: 1614 | Registered: Wednesday, January 23 2002 08:00 |

I was driving in Wyoming, and to repair roads they take up miles of road at a time and keep the roads open, so thousands of cars are driving on dirt roads at 10 mph. And NJ is the king of road construction. Road construction is a funny thing. The more a road is used and the more extreme the temperatures get, the more work it takes to keep the road in good shape. But if a road gets a lot of traffic, there's no good time for repairs. New York City has some stunning examples of what happens to roads that are in such constant use that they haven't been touched since the invention of the wheel. —Alorael, who has had fun listening to weather forecasts. Somehow the weather has managed to be completely opposite to all predictions every day for the past week or so. Posts: 14579 | Registered: Saturday, December 1 2001 08:00 |

On the southern hemisphere anyway. But since Jeff lives on the northern one, he'll release it sometime from september to december. And no matter what season that is to you, it'll be the same time (not taking into account time zones). -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! His Flashing eyes, his Floating hair!" In texas we have 4 seasons: spring (5 weeks) Summer (35 weeks) Fall (5 weeks) and Winter (7 weeks). However the 7 weeks of winter usually are punctuated by a couple weeks of summer or fall for good measure. and spring and fall are just weak synonymns for summer. -------------------- Tip of the Day: #13 Stand clear the closing door.
