Bisexual for me, thanks. And yes, I am in possession of a fine pair of ovaries. Decidedly glad I don't look much like that, then. (But DAMN.) I like girls who break gender stereotypes. Not butch, exactly, but...shapely, maybe a bit on the large side, built like real women (who have curves) and not afraid to be considered "unfeminine." Short hair is definitely a turn-on, but long thick hair can be sexy too. Intelligence, morbid sense of humor, loyalty, open-mindedness, ideally a love of literature. And of course, correct grammar is a must. I'd hate to have to scythe my own girlfriend. -------------------- "Man hands down misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf. Yeah, but it's still a funny-ass book. I find Al Franken's books and Ann Coulter's books equally hilarious. The sad thing is that Coulter isn't trying to be funny. -------------------- "Man hands down misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf. Exactly. It's not "pointless" to criticize Bush while he's in office. All leaders need to be criticized if they make bad decisions, and Bush is practically the embodiment of bad decisions. If nobody criticized him, he'd keep on making bad decisions without any regard for what the American people really think--oh, wait. Never mind. I identify most with the Green Party, and I'll register to vote with them as soon as I'm 18. Until then, I don't count. I do really like the look of Howard Dean, even though I don't really identify with the Democrats. Is he officially in the running? I am the Grammar Wench. I am obsessive-compulsive about proper grammar and spelling, unless English is not your first language. And, like everyone else on these boards, I have a low spam tolerance. Welcome, LordLoony. Please watch your grammar, and have fun. (I'm not around much anymore anyway.) -------------------- "Man hands down misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf. I don't know that you'll find all too many people here that have a huge problem with it, inasmuch as most of us have played Avernum, and the graphics in that--I mean, look at that one character graphic of the anatomically impossible woman in the shoelace-sized leather bikini and fur-topped boots. Speaking as a woman, I wasn't offended by the mage-in-bikini graphic (though it didn't seem very...magicky, for lack of a better word--then again, I know nothing about the game). I was mildly offended by the Avernum graphic, but this one didn't strike me as offensive. -------------------- "Man hands down misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf. What are you on about, JF? You seem to be implying that I said that Bilbo, Frodo and Gollum were elves. I said that the Dunedain, unlike the elves, were mortal, though they lived longer than most of the race of Men. I said nothing about hobbits, and very little about elves. -------------------- "Man hands down misery to man. It deepens like a coastal shelf. quote:Yes, there are. As of last year, I believe, Earth's population had just reached 8 billion. I could be wrong, though...I never pay attention in science class... Lost King, I really must protest one of your sig quotes vehemently. Arathorn was NOT the son of Isildur, and I don't think Isildur was the son of Elendil (I may be wrong about that last part, though. Wasn't Elendil the star Galadriel gives to Frodo?) Arathorn was a descendant of Isildur, bur he would have been a great-great-great-great-great-great-great-insert however many more greats are needed grandson. Isildur lived during the Second Age, and Aragorn (and, we're assuming, his father) lived during the Third Age. Ages are very long periods of time, and while the Dunedain live longer than most men, they certainly aren't immortal like elves. I really suggest you don't post Aragorn's entire lineage in your sig, because it's mentioned in the appendix but it's extremely long, and your sig is far too long (and grammatically incorrect!) already. But if you must mention Aragorn's heritage, please get it right. [ Sunday, September 07, 2003 12:04: Message edited by: Commodore Mango ] -------------------- "Man hands down misery to man.
