I've played geneforge and loved it, it is a fresh breeze amoung the still, arid, derivative games that I have played over the last few years, strange mad and utterly brilliant (not unlike A-Tractor) anyway I just thought what would make it utterly utterly brilliant, A MMOPRG version of it, I told you it was silly but does anyone else think it would be good? -------------------- E=MC2 =Meaning of reletivity =meaning of life = Coke and Curry. Almost everybody thinks an MMORPG form of any of the Spidweb games would be an excellant idea. But Spidweb will never make an MMORPG. Posts: 901 | Registered: Monday, June 24 2002 07:00 |

Yes I know it would never be made (lest I get enough to fund it) but the point was did everyone think it was a good idea, acording to you yes... another thing... the closest thing to Geneforge that i can think of is Sacrifice, anyone else care to comment? -------------------- E=MC2 =Meaning of reletivity =meaning of life = Coke and Curry. Suggestion threads go through cycles and repeat themselves, I've found However, that is not necessarily a bad thing. Maybe, eventually someone will come up with the resources. I'm aware that Jeff himself will probably not change his mind no matter how many suggest it. -------------------- "And all should cry, Beware, Beware! His Flashing eyes, his Floating hair!" S. T. Coleridge --- "It is as if everyone had lost their sense Consigned themselves to downfall and decadence And a wisp it is they have chosen as their beacon." Whats an MMOPRG? and by the way Ultimate Weapon Custer do you like goat porn or something -------------------- "'We wish the return of Linda.' they said. 'Oh, swell. She only summoned a demon lord into the tower once, she's only mildly insane, what a beautiful idea! Let's proceed at once!' I said' "'We appreciate your acquiesence,' they said. And that was that. Sarcasm is lost on that lot." He kicks a wall in irritation. ----------------------------------- What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. Geneforge doesn't seem anything but derivative to those who have played Fallout. Anyway, the turn-based portions of Geneforge would make massive multiplayer difficult if not impossible. I suspect the goat theme is distressing to older contributors. At least those, like me, that lived in rural west Wales for any length of time. Those poor, lonely, batchelor hill farmers don't get out much, you know. Posts: 2333 | Registered: Monday, January 7 2002 08:00 |

timber wolf, the posting of completely unrelated pictures in threads is a time honoured tradition on these boards. Some of my best friends are donkeys. Yes, Agha, I too will fund it if I am ever rich. If I ever become skillful at programming I will make an MMORPG. (in fact I thought of mmorpgs before i ever heard of them. not that I expect you to believe me) )This post brought to you by registered mail, the poor man's copywrite. -------------------- Tip of the Day: #13 Stand clear the closing door.
