I used to play the violin and piano (although not both at the same time, because I tried that once and it sounds awful). I gave up on both after learning them for a few years, partly because I was never much good at either and partly because I don't like music. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! See, it's really not good form to accuse people of liking someone in particular for being attractive, as the only defence is to say either that you don't find her attractive or that you dislike her. :P [ Friday, July 01, 2005 00:12: Message edited by: Thuryl ] -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Well, the short answer is "no". There's a way to bring about the same effect, though. Make the new town you want to replace the old town with, import it over the old one using the Import Town feature, and then delete the duplicate. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! The first answer that springs to mind is outer space. (Explosive decompression isn't actually that explosive in practice, but that's a matter for another time.) -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

World Builder itself wasn't bad; it's just that a lot of people have made really bad things with it. It actually makes a pretty solid tool for making adventure games, as Ray Dunakin showed. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! We did get a random annoying Geneforge fan by the name of taker_guardian who claimed to be a teenage girl and made a nuisance of herself for a while. She ended up with 2 stars, as you can see by searching the forums for her name and finding a post by her. Jeff has to read email -- he gets quite a few registrations that way, for one thing. Whether or not he takes suggestions into account, of course, is another matter entirely. -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

See, that's a prime example of why every pen and paper RPG system needs a rule that allows the GM to arrange public floggings of obnoxious players. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

The phrasing of your question is biased. Give me one good reason why anyone should be allowed in the military, and then show why that reason doesn't apply to gays. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! Posts: 9973 | Registered: Saturday, March 30 2002 08:00 |

How fast does your friend cycle? If he's manic for weeks at a time and depressed for months at a time he may be bipolar. If he can be manic and depressed several times within the space of a week he's probably just cyclothymic. -------------------- My BoE Page Bandwagons are fun! Roots Hunted! I worked out the first three lines, but the last line threw me because I thought it was more complex than it was. I expected the answer to be a four-letter word that related to all three of the above lines, and that became some kind of implement for conveying information when you took away one letter. I became so enamoured of the idea that the phrase "if four were three" was intended to imply a syncopation that I kept working along those lines, and didn't get particularly far. Well, the problem is that Stuffit Expander isn't working for you. You shouldn't need to be using Expander at all, though -- just use your regular unzipping utility. (You aren't inadvertently downloading the Mac versions of scenarios instead of the Windows versions, are you? The Windows versions have a .zip file extension, while the Mac versions have .sit instead.) -------------------- The Empire Always Loses: This Time For Sure!
