1) No one gets to pick out their own custom title except *i and Drakefyre. Getting one mostly requires that you be a member for long enough to make a few thousand posts. Or do something notably cool or retarded. The former gets you a title like Cartographer or BoE Posse. The latter gets you Canned. 2) Moderator positions are typically not available due to a hard UBB maximum of 4 moderators for any individual board. Reliability, respectability, membership in secret cabals, and being in the right place at the right time all help. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

You fixed the bug in much the same way as one would fix a cat. Sure, Spider won't sell me skills on the cheap any more, but now he won't buy my stuff at all, because he won't even talk to me. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Spider sells skills much like Nioca-bok in the version I have. Only he does so for cheaper. :P Checking the readme, this is 1.2.3.2, so if you've already fixed this, disregard this message. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Maybe not with making patch fixes to it in Exodus, but he's been pretty concerned with updating the HLPM to stop things like god parties doing 0 damage. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Since it came up in the Exodus thread, maybe you could consider capping the learning of Summon Shade to level 5 for any level of party, including god. I'm not sure if any other spells are likewise bugged, although I know certain levels of Far Sight behave oddly. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Well, a trial in which your defense lawyers are repeatedly murdered, but yet the trial goes on, is probably not a fair trial. Being a lawyer is a difficult enough job without either your life being at risk if you're perceived as actually doing your job or having to pick up where your predecessor left off with almost no warning or preparation time, with the shadow of his assassination hanging over your head. I'm not saying it's going to lead to terribly overpowered parties in general. I'm saying that I have over 50000 spare gold to spend on each of my 1 PC parties and if I dump all of that into skills bad things will happen to my enemies. :P Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Nioca-Bok...? :P While I've been abstaining from using any the HLPM's stores in my solo plays, this is deeeeeefinitely one I'm going to stay away from, I think. Raising all of my stats with the ridiculous amount of money I have now would be, well, ridiculous. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Hey Kelandon, you reaaaally should release Exodus v1.01. I'm definitely going to play through it once I get back into a BoA mood, and I'd like Exodus to, well, work right. :P Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Neither Ishad Nha or Nioca is fully correct here. Well, no. Nioca is just wrong. It's really dumb to ever use a hex editor on your save files for the purpose of bypassing the registration barrier and I honestly can't think of why anyone would ever do it. What is your favorite food? Mm, sushi. I guess? What is your most hated food? Uncooked tomatoes Is there any circumstance under which you would eat your most hated food? Maybe if I was starving; even then I'd be at risk of vomiting which would kinda not help me. What is your favorite beverage? Uh, uh... milk? What do you normally cook spur of the moment? I don't. I haven't really lived somewhere where I've had a reason to do real cooking on a regular basis for quite some time. Are you a vegetarian? Meat is for eating, although I don't end up eating good meat as often as I'd like to. What is your favorite dessert food? What's this "dessert" thing? Uh, well, I guess I eat cheesecake sometimes. I'm not really a dessert person. What is your favorite type of chocolate? Ehhhhhhhhhhhh. It's rare that I get a craving for chocolate, and when I do I usually just grab a bag of Hershey's miniatures. Favorite pizza topping(s)? Mm, feta cheese, anchovies, and green olives. Yes, those all go on the same pizza. Also, pierogie pizza is wonderful. Favorite breakfast? Uh, uh... whichever of belgian waffles, pancakes, and french toast is best where I'm eating, two sunny-side up eggs, and home fries? When at home, grits or cream of wheat. Sometimes Pop-Tarts. Least favorite breakfast? Uh, generally I just do not eat breakfast unless it is good, so, uh, Nutri-Grain bars are pretty odious I guess? Favorite protein food? Rare steak, not grilled. Favorite fruit? Oh geez, there are so many good ones... Kiwifruit are wonderful but too many of them causes your mouth to hurt from how acidic they are. Favorite vegetable? That really depends on the preparation. Raw, mm, broccoli. Or chickpeas. The only ones that I just plain don't get along with at all, off the top of my head, are water chestnuts and (uncooked) tomatoes. Favorite popcorn topping? I almost never eat popcorn, but I guess white cheddar. Or copious butter topping. Or... well I guess both would be just awesome. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |
