Age: 19 Hair Color: Brown Eye Color: Brown Do you ... Have a tattoo? I'd rather not get stabbed Have any peircings? See above Have a bf/gf? <3 Like thunderstorms? Of course. Minus the power outage part, when that happens. Ever stop using the computer? Sleep, food, hygeine, class, work... it'd be pretty hard to say no to this. Have you/Do you have... Considered a life of crime? Yes. Of course, this makes you wonder what my choice was... Split personalities? Not at all. Obsessions? Doesn't everyone? Right now... Current clothes: Red pajamas. Current mood: Hungry Current music: I've renounced music for the time being. Current annoyance: That I need to get dressed in order to go get food. Current thing you should be doing: Getting dressed in order to go get food. Favorite... Drink: Milk Color: Red! No, blue! Candy: Crystallised sugar Movie: Uh, probably Lord of the Rings. Or the original Star Wars trilogy. Person to talk to: My girlfriend Do you prefer... McDonalds or Burger King? McDonalds, although this is like choosing between stabbing and shooting yourself. Root Beer or Dr Pepper? Dr. Pepper, although this is like choosing between drinking vinegar or bleach. Sunshine or Rain? Rain, of course Spring or Fall? Spring. The approach of summer and the end of school is quite better than the start of school... Winter or Summer? ...until I get to summer, at which point it becomes incredibly hot and I wish it wasn't summer any more so that I'd stop feeling like I was melting. Winter. Vanilla or Chocolate? Vanilla. I really am not a terrible fan of most chocolate. Lights on or Off? Eternal darkness is my only friend. They will notice, at least - the rest of the world will suddenly become entirely unexplored, even if it's exactly the same. This is really a minor quibble, though, especially if you're sure to make sure you cannot encounter the same encounter in the old world and the new world both. If this is too much of a problem for you, or it would be too much of a hassle to implement the new world into your scenarios, drastically changing the terrain via script may be your only option. TM says he wants in on this too. I think his e-mail is still terrorsmartyr@wi.rr.com, but it's in all of his scenarios anyway. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Mac betas are being sent out now. PC betas are pending a fix to a PC-specific crash bug. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

TM is planning on sending out at least the Mac betas by the end of <s>today</s> Thursday, although he's been vexed by some strange problems with the PC version. EDIT: PC BoA is hate. Y'know, it's very questionable to me how the heck you would need to "beta test" items. They're not like... complicated, nor is it possible for them to be buggy or erroneous in ways that are not blatantly obvious. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

TM's still working on it, and hopefully is almost finished - I was helping him debug one of the major bosses two days ago. It's pretty safe to say that the... interesting combat that TM usually brings to the table will still be present in Echoes: Renegade. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

From TM: Terrain 393 apparently always makes a crunch noise when you step on it, regardless of what you set the terrain's sound to, as shown here: Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Well, you could see if the problem is with your computer or with your profile by testing it out. If you can log in reliably as an account other than your main account, the problem would seem to rest with your account. If you can log into your account reliably from another computer, the problem would be with your computer. Anyway, if you've got the ability to get it working even once on any computer, you should be able to save your buddy list to a file - or at the very least, write all of the names on it down on paper and load them into a different account by hand. It seems that home.comcast.net/~kelandon4045 and home.comcast.net/~joanna_wiz have both been deleted, so only the scenarios located on home.comcast.net/~tom_05 are accessible. Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |

Sorry, Saunders, but I wanted to respond to someone's earlier question. quote:The original Neverwinter Nights did it by having turn-based combat only. Wandering about the world was not so restricted. (I also think there was a limit to how long your turns could be, but it was rather long.) Posts: 3234 | Registered: Thursday, October 4 2001 07:00 |
