Plah - Lies. My legitimate party has butchered everything it has encountered in the scenario with ease.

Although having an excuse for fighting (as Gargoyle's scenario seems to have) is better than having no excuse for it that I can find. (as Land of the Damned has)

Eh, off-topic discussion is fun.

Actually, I have a feeling that Plah's comment was rather accurate - this, much like Land of the Damned, is probably going to be a "super-hard" scenario that will turn out to be stupid and rather easy, too. :/

In Blades of Exile, the explosion on space node hitting a friendly is indeed disastrous, as it hostiles the town.

This was probably changed for Avernum.

Actually, that +10 area bonus is... enough to make me NOT want the weapon. It does very little unless you're fighting goblins, and has the risk of turning friendly creatures against you.

Actually, if this was implemented, much like items with special classes now (the special class is merely removed upon their exit from the scenario) it would be very easy just to strip out the description text.

An antimagic shield isn't very useful against hot strike of weapon of choice to die.

Okay. 30 strikes then to finish it.

Using TM's A3 data, I get 12 attacks per round.

Hence it dies in 3 rounds.

Unless you go out of your way to mung a document that contains no encoding whatsoever, it's pretty hard to mung .txt. :P

Seriously, though, while I understand it's not an option for BoA, a few Mac scenarios designers ship their graphics in .gif form.
