I, as usual, search for interesting topics with interesting answers, especially with BoA, The upcoming game. But then I stopped and started to think. Why am I gonna download (and soon register) BoA? The obvious answer to that is the BoA Editor. Some people talk about it and wants special things with the Editor. So what ever happened to the actual game of BoA? I understand that BoA can read the scenarios of what you created from the Editor, but then what about the included scenarios? :confused: -------------------- I will avenge my father . . . someday . . . for I can harm and heal. He wants to know what scenarios are going to be included. The include3d scenarios would be the three from BoE (valley of dying things, a small rebellion and the za-kazi run), and one new one. They aren't really all that great, but the reason that a player would buy BoA (as with BoE) would be to play 3rd party scenarios, which are, of course, limited by whatever limitations the editor has, which is why features of the editor are so important. Nobody really cares about the included scenarios. VoDT will be okay, ASR will be good, and ZKR will be bad. Haha, I think that was an advertisement. Anywho, I'm sure the 4th one will be entirly new, not a port of a particularly good 3rd party one from BOE. We already know what the included scenarios have to offer. Nobody will spend their time playing them besides to get a feel for BoA. Some people may play the new fourth scenario just to play another official Jeff Vogel product, and it can be helpful to have a scenario that you can walk around in and then poke at with the editor before you start from scratch. —Alorael, who also suspects that the editor will be the main attraction. SoF, your point of view is flawed. So BoE isn't a stand-alone game; so what? Many scenarios exist for it that are better than most of the Exile series. I'm surprised the lord above (JV) hasn't thought of this one. Why not just release the game WITHOUT any added scenerios. The game will be out in a fraction of the time, and the number of scenerios that will be completed in the time it would take to make the included ones would be ten-fold. Or have a contest and release a second edition of BoA with the winning scenerios included. You could call it, BoA Gold or something. -------------------- Leave me alone.
