Heh… nearing the end of the tour… that one made me chuckle. Um, yeah. Apparently I live in a box, so I have no idea what the deal is with the caption polls. I'm having a problem playing BoA on my new-ish Mac OSX. For some reason it's slow and jerky, when it was smooth on my OS8. The attacks are slower, and missile and spell animations are utterly terrible. Walking is kind of slow too. I thought it might be the memory allocation, but I can't change that. I've tried restarting, but it doesn't help. I made sure it was in thousands of colors, but that wasn't it either. If I'm missing or forgetting something, or if anyone has any other suggestions, please help me out. Thanks. -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles. I don't think spamming helps, really. It also doesn't really hurt anything. Like Dintiradan said, it won't kill you, but it also has no nutritional value. It's pretty much just there. That kinda' explains my post count, actually. Honestly though, I think I spam too much as it is. -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles. quote:-X-, I think in E:R, what TM did was just design an item for each of the possible combinations, then give you the one that you described best. I'm not sure making a completely custom item module, like I think you're talking about, would even be possible for this game. But, like Kel said, making your own custom items and sticking them in a basic scenario for prompt pickup is easy enough. Just know that there are still limitations to what you can do with custom items, as far as taking them from one scenario to another. quote:<more kissuppiness> Okay then, you rock. I'm inclined to say there are mainly three "theme songs" to In the Shadow of Dragons (ItSoD): In the Shadow of Dragons: Mvt. 1 In the Shadow of Dragons: Mvt. 2 In the Shadow of Dragons: Mvt. 3 Well, it's what the scenario's based on so… yeah. Apart from that, probably music from Final Fantasy. :P -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles. Hey Kel, I asked you this a long time ago, but I don't remember what you said about it. Could you split up the party so that only one or two members are taken out? Would change the Arena feature a little bit. Also, to make the God Arrows/Bolts marginally more broken, you could just make the count equal to zero. That way they'd never run out. (Yeah, I'm lame.) -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles. They do not like being provoked. -Lenar My website: Nemesis' Refuge Posts: 743 | Registered: Friday, September 29 2006 07:00 |

quote:Well, it's not really so much the laser puzzle itself, as the conditions along with it. The perfect spirit (was that what it was called?) had this nasty habit of draining HP and *cringe* MP. It really annoyed me. The only problem I have with laser puzzles is the unpredictablily of pushing mobile mirrors against walls. In other words, I push it towards a wall (which you're sometimes forced to do) and it usually doesn't go the way I want it to. Very infuriating. -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles. *Balm of Life* Hah! It lives again… but probably not for long. Just saying, I made some changes on my site. Lenar, I have a new format, so… yeah, it doesn't look like your site anymore. I also added some stuff. I put in a couple of character scripts (oh goodie… *eye roll*) that may or may not be original ideas, but I made them from basicnpc, so bear with me. I might have put in some more graphics. Not sure though. Check it out, if you givadam. -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles. I don't personally find it disrespectful, in fact I have more respect for a lot of women than I do for most men. My point was that some people might find it disrespectful, and my intention certainly wasn't to offend anyone. -------------------- Do not provoke the turtles.
